2. Instruccions de seguretat

Llegiu atentament totes les instruccions de seguretat abans d'utilitzar l'aparell. Si no seguiu aquestes instruccions, podeu patir descàrregues elèctriques, incendis o lesions greus.

• Assegureu-vos sempre que l'aparell estigui connectat a una presa de corrent amb connexió a terra i el volum correcte.tage (220 volts).

• Mantingueu l'aparell fora de l'abast dels nens i de les mascotes.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. The warming plate and carafe will be hot during and after operation.
• Unplug the coffee maker from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

3. Components

4. Configuració

Before first use, follow these steps to prepare your coffee maker.

1. Desembalar: Traieu amb cura tots els materials d'embalatge i llenceu-los de manera responsable.
2. Components nets: Wash the thermal carafe, reusable mesh filter, and filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Initial Water Cycle (Cleaning Brew):
   • Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX (10 cups) level.
   • Place the empty reusable mesh filter into the filter basket, and ensure the filter basket is correctly seated.
   • Close the lid and place the empty thermal carafe on the warming plate.
   • Connecteu l'aparell a una presa de corrent adequada.
   • Press the On/Off button to start a brewing cycle without coffee. This will clean the internal components.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Follow these steps to brew delicious coffee with your Cecotec Coffee 66 Drop & Thermo.

1. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to your desired level, indicated by the cup markings on the side. Do not exceed the MAX (10 cups) level.
2. Afegir cafè mòlt: Place the reusable mesh filter into the filter basket. Add your desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. A general guideline is one level measuring spoon (approx. 7g) per cup. Adjust to taste.
3. Posició de la garrafa: Ensure the thermal carafe is correctly placed on the warming plate. The anti-drip valve will be pushed up by the carafe lid, allowing coffee to flow.

4. Comença a fer cervesa: Plug the coffee maker into the power outlet. Press the On/Off button. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the brewing process has started.

5. ExtremeAroma Technology: The coffee maker utilizes ExtremeAroma technology, which ensures a continuous spray and drip process to extract a more intense coffee flavor.
6. Anti-drip Function: You can temporarily remove the carafe during brewing to pour a cup of coffee. The anti-drip function will stop the flow of coffee for a short period. Return the carafe to the warming plate within 30 seconds to prevent overflow.
7. Funció de mantenir la calor: After brewing, the warming plate will automatically keep the coffee warm for up to 45 minutes. The indicator light will remain on during this period.

8. Servei: Once the brewing cycle is complete and the warming period ends, or when you are ready to serve, carefully remove the carafe and pour.

9. Apagar: To turn off the coffee maker manually, press the On/Off button again. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use.

6. Manteniment i Neteja

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your coffee maker. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

• Neteja diària:
  • Remove the reusable mesh filter and filter basket. Discard used coffee grounds.
  • Wash the reusable mesh filter, filter basket, and thermal carafe in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are generally top-rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity.

• Descalcificació (mensual o segons calgui): Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting performance.
  • Prepareu una solució descalcificadora barrejant vinagre blanc i aigua (proporció 1:2) o utilitzeu un agent descalcificador comercial segons les seves instruccions.
  • Aboqueu la solució al dipòsit d'aigua.
  • Col·loqueu la garrafa buida al plat d'escalfament.
  • Run a brewing cycle. After half the solution has brewed through, turn off the coffee maker and let it soak for 15-20 minutes.
  • Turn the coffee maker back on to complete the brewing cycle.
  • Discard the solution and run 2-3 cycles with fresh, cold water to rinse thoroughly and remove any vinegar taste.
