1. Introducció

The GE-GS 18/150 Li-Solo is part of the Einhell Power X-Change family and requires an 18V Power X-Change battery (not included). To install the battery, align it with the battery slot on the tool and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.

The blade can be replaced quickly and easily without any additional tools. Ensure the battery is removed before changing the blade.

1. To remove the blade, locate the blade release mechanism (often a lever or button) near the blade holder.
2. Engage the mechanism and carefully pull the old blade out.
3. To install a new blade, insert the blade shank into the holder, ensuring it is fully seated and the release mechanism locks it into place. Gently tug on the blade to confirm it is secure.

3.3 Attaching/Removing the Retaining Bracket

The removable retaining bracket is designed to firmly hold branches, preventing slippage and enabling one-handed operation, especially for higher branches. It can be attached or removed without tools.

• To attach, align the bracket with the designated slots on the tool's head and push until it clicks into place.
• To remove, press the release tabs (if present) and pull the bracket away from the tool.

• To start the tool, engage the lateral safety switches and then press the trigger.
• For optimal cutting, position the blade against the branch firmly.
• The robust metal gearing and 20 mm stroke height allow for cutting branches up to a maximum thickness of 8 cm with the retaining bracket, or up to 10 cm when the retaining bracket is removed.

4.4 Ergonomics and Portability

Thanks to its compact and ergonomic shape and Softgrip surfaces, this 1.38 kg branch cutter fits well in the hand, even during prolonged use. The integrated belt clip allows for temporary hanging, keeping the tool within easy reach when not actively cutting.
