The Intel NUC 12 Enthusiast is a barebone system, requiring the installation of memory (RAM), storage, and an operating system before first use.

4.1. Instal·lació de memòria (RAM)

1. Ensure the NUC is powered off and disconnected from all power sources.
2. Carefully open the NUC chassis according to the instructions provided in the quick start guide (not included in this manual).
3. Locate the DDR4 SDRAM compatible slots on the motherboard. There are 2 memory slots available.

5. Insert the module firmly into the slot at a 45-degree angle, then push down until the clips on both sides snap into place.

4.2. Installing Storage (SSD/HDD)

1. With the chassis still open, locate the storage drive bay(s) or M.2 slot(s). The system supports SSDs with a Serial ATA-600 interface.
2. For M.2 SSDs, insert the drive into the slot and secure it with the provided screw.
3. For 2.5-inch drives, place the drive into the bay and connect the SATA data and power cables. Secure the drive with screws if necessary.
4. Close the NUC chassis securely.

4.3. Connexió de perifèrics

• Connect your monitor(s) to the HDMI or DisplayPort outputs. The system supports up to 3840x2160 resolution.
• Plug in your keyboard and mouse into any available USB ports. The NUC supports up to 10 USB peripherals.
• For wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable to the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port.
• Connect the US Power Cord to the NUC and then to a power outlet.
