3. Configuració i instal·lació

3.1 Desembalatge i inspecció

Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage during transit. Report any damage to your dealer immediately.

3.2 Instal·lació de la bateria

The safe requires 4 AA batteries for operation. The battery compartment is typically located on the inside of the safe door. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

Important: If the supplied batteries are damaged or do not work, replace them with new, high-quality AA alkaline batteries.

3.3 Initial Opening (Using Emergency Key)

For the first time opening, or if batteries are depleted, use the emergency key:

3.4 Mounting the Safe (Optional)

The Ozone Fort Safe AB-66 is designed for freestanding or tabletop use, but can also be securely mounted to a wall or floor for added security. It comes with pre-drilled holes for easy installation.

Steps for Mounting:

1. Choose a suitable location, preferably a discreet and secure spot.
2. Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe onto the wall or floor.
3. Drill holes using an appropriate drill bit for your wall/floor material.
4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided mounting hardware (bolts, washers).

4. Instruccions de funcionament

With the safe door open:

1. Premeu el botó "CONFIGURAR" button (usually located on the inside of the door).
2. Enter your desired new user password (4-8 digits) on the keypad.
3. Premeu el botó "#" or "ENTRAR" button to confirm. The LED screen will confirm successful setting.

4.2 Setting Master Password

The master password provides an additional layer of access and can override the user password. It is recommended to set a master password and keep it confidential.

1. With the safe door open, press the "0" button twice, then press the "CONFIGURAR" botó.
2. Enter your desired new master password (4-8 digits).

1. Enter your user or master password on the keypad.

4.5 Tancament i bloqueig de la caixa forta

To close and lock the safe:

1. Tanqueu bé la porta de la caixa forta.
2. Rotate the five-spoke handle counter-clockwise until the bolts are fully extended and the door is securely locked.
3. Verify the safe is locked by attempting to open the door without entering a code or using a fingerprint.

5. Manteniment

When the low battery indicator appears on the LED screen, or if the keypad becomes unresponsive, it's time to replace the batteries. Use 4 new AA alkaline batteries. Refer to Section 3.2 for installation steps.
