This XPOtool Styrofoam cutter is the ideal tool for working with hard polystyrene foams, Styrodur insulation boards, as well as rubbers and plastics. The 130W cutter produces smooth edges in insulating materials and allows for precise creation of openings for sockets, panels, or cable/pipe passages, regardless of their size and shape.
The Styrofoam cutter reaches a maximum temperature of 450 °C and glides effortlessly through the material to be cut. It features a depth stop, which limits the cutting depth to 100 mm. Alternatively, the cutter can be used freely, without the depth stop, allowing for cuts up to a maximum depth of 145 mm.

Configuració

Powering On and Heating:
- Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet (230V AC, 50Hz).
- The tool will begin to heat up immediately. The maximum temperature of 450 °C is reached quickly.
- Allow the blade to reach its operating temperature before attempting to cut. This ensures clean and smooth cuts.

Using the Depth Stop:
The depth stop allows for precise control over the cutting depth, up to 100 mm. This is particularly useful for creating uniform grooves or partial cuts.
- Loosen the adjustment screws on the depth stop assembly.
- Slide the depth stop along the blade to the desired cutting depth (indicated by markings on the assembly).
- Tighten the adjustment screws firmly to secure the depth stop in place.
- When cutting, the depth stop will prevent the blade from penetrating beyond the set depth.

For cuts exceeding 100 mm or for irregular shapes, the depth stop can be removed or adjusted to its maximum extension, allowing for freehand cuts up to 145 mm deep.
- Ensure the depth stop is either removed or set to its furthest position if not needed.
- Carefully guide the heated blade through the material. Apply steady, even pressure.
- Allow the heat to melt through the material rather than forcing the blade, which can lead to uneven cuts or damage to the tool.

Manteniment
