1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your MSI MPG B760I Edge WiFi Gaming Motherboard. 2. Configuració i instal·lació

2.1. Preparació per a la instal·lació

• Ensure you have a compatible power supply, CPU, RAM, and storage devices.

2.2. Instal·lació de la CPU (LGA 1700)

1. Localitzeu el sòcol LGA 1700 a la placa base.
2. Obriu la palanca del sòcol de la CPU i aixequeu la placa de càrrega.
3. Carefully align the notches on your Intel 12th/13th/14th Gen processor with the socket. Do not force the CPU into place.
4. Baixeu la placa de càrrega i fixeu-la amb la palanca.

2.3. Instal·lació de memòria (RAM)

1. Obriu els clips dels dos extrems de les ranures DIMM DDR5.
2. Alineeu l'osca del mòdul de memòria DDR5 amb la clau de la ranura DIMM.

2.4.1. Instal·lació d'un SSD M.2

1. Locate the M.2 slots on the motherboard. This motherboard supports Lightning Gen 4 x4 M.2.
2. Remove the M.2 heatsink and stand-off screw if present.

4. Gently push down the SSD and secure it with the stand-off screw. Reattach the heatsink.

• Connect one end of the SATA data cable to a SATA port on the motherboard and the other end to your SATA HDD/SSD.
