4. Instal·lació

4.1 Muntatge del controlador

1. Choose a suitable indoor location near an AC outlet and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
2. Use the provided mounting screws and anchors to securely attach the controller to the wall.

4.2 Connexió del cablejat

Connect your sprinkler system's common wire (C), zone wires (1-8), and optional rain sensor wires (S1, S2) to the corresponding terminals on the controller. Ensure all connections are secure.

4.3 Connexió d'alimentació

Connect the included AC power adapter to the controller's power input port and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The controller display should illuminate.

To utilize the smart features of your HiOazo controller, download the companion mobile application and pair your device.

1. Descarrega't el Aplicació INKBIRD des de l'App Store (iOS) o Google Play Store (Android).
2. Obre l'aplicació i crea un compte o inicia la sessió.
3. On the app's home screen, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a new device.
4. Select the HO-SC-8W from the list of available devices.
5. Ensure your controller is powered on. The Wi-Fi icon on the controller's display should be flashing rapidly for fast pairing mode. If not, long-press the 'Back' button (left arrow) for 2 seconds until it flashes rapidly.
6. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the controller to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: The controller only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If you have a dual-band router, ensure the 2.4GHz band is enabled and named differently from the 5GHz band.
7. Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon on the controller will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

6. Funcionament

6.1 Configuració del rellotge

To set the current time and date on the controller:

1. Premeu el botó Configuració button (gear icon).

6.2 Reg manual

Manual watering allows you to water specific zones or all zones immediately without affecting your programmed schedules.

1. Premeu el botó Reg manual button (water drop icon with hand).
2. Utilitza el Endavant (fletxa dreta) i Enrere (left arrow) buttons to select a specific zone (1-8) or 'ALL' for all zones.
3. Utilitza el A més (+) i Menys (-) buttons to set the desired watering duration in minutes.
4. Premeu el botó Reg manual button again to start watering.

6.3 Automatic Scheduling

The controller supports up to six start times per zone with run times from 1 minute to 3 hours. Schedules can be customized for specific days of the week, odd/even calendar days, or intervals. Detailed scheduling is managed through the mobile application.

6.4 Ajust estacional

The seasonal adjust feature allows you to globally increase or decrease watering duration for all active zones by a percentage, adapting to changing weather conditions without modifying individual schedules.

The HO-SC-8W controller supports connection to an external rain sensor (sold separately). When a rain sensor is detected, it will automatically skip scheduled watering cycles during rainy conditions, preventing overwatering and conserving water.

7. Manteniment

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your HiOazo Smart Sprinkler Controller:

• Keep the controller clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• Regularly check all wire connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
• Avoid exposing the controller to direct moisture or extreme temperatures, as it is designed for indoor use.
• Periodically check for app updates to ensure you have the latest features and bug fixes.

8. Solució De Problemes

8.1 Controller Not Powering On

• Ensure the AC power adapter is securely plugged into both the controller and a working electrical outlet.
• Verify that the electrical outlet is receiving power.

8.2 Problemes de connexió Wi-Fi

• Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The controller does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
• Ensure the controller is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
• Check that the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
• If using a dual-band router, ensure the 2.4GHz band has a unique name.
• Try restarting your Wi-Fi router and the sprinkler controller.

8.3 Sprinklers Not Activating

• Verify all zone and common wires are correctly and securely connected to the controller terminals.
• Check the sprinkler valves in your irrigation system for any issues.
• Ensure the controller is not in a paused or rain-delay state (if a rain sensor is connected).
• Test individual zones using the manual watering feature to isolate the problem.

8.4 'Time Error' Displayed

• This indicates a discrepancy in the internal clock. Reconnect the controller to your Wi-Fi network to synchronize the time.
• If the issue persists, manually set the time as described in Section 6.1.
