5. Instruccions de funcionament
The ARCCAPTAIN A013 helmet supports various welding and cutting applications. Familiarize yourself with the controls before starting any work.

Imatge 5.1: acabatview of the wide range of applications for the ARCCAPTAIN A013 helmet, including STICK, MIG, TIG welding, and CUT (plasma cutting/grinding).
5.1 Control Knobs Overview
- Shade Control Knob: Adjusts the darkness level (DIN 9-13 for welding, DIN 4 for grind mode).
- Sensitivity Control Knob: Adjusts the sensitivity of the arc sensors to detect the welding arc. Turn clockwise for higher sensitivity, counter-clockwise for lower.
- Delay Control Knob: Adjusts the time it takes for the lens to return to its light state after the arc stops. Turn clockwise for a longer delay, counter-clockwise for a shorter delay.
- Grind/Weld/Cut Switch: Selecciona el mode de funcionament.
5.2 Selecció del mode de funcionament
- Mode de soldadura: Set the switch to 'WELD'. Adjust the shade control knob to the appropriate shade level (DIN 9-13) for your welding process (MIG, ARC, TIG). Adjust sensitivity and delay as needed.
- Mode de mòlta: Set the switch to 'GRIND'. The lens will remain in its light state (DIN 4) for grinding operations. Nota: Always wear additional eye protection when grinding.
- Mode de tall: Set the switch to 'CUT'. This mode is typically used for plasma cutting, where the shade level can be adjusted to suit the cutting amperage.
5.3 Recommended Shade Settings
| Procés de soldadura | Amprang d'època | Recommended Shade |
