The APC Back-UPS Pro Gaming UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is a line-interactive sine wave UPS designed to provide reliable power protection for gaming consoles and PC gaming environments. It combines surge protection and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) with battery backup capabilities. This unit features an interactive LCD display, customizable ambient LED lighting, and multiple USB charging ports, ensuring continuous power and device charging during outages or power fluctuations.

Instruccions de configuració

1. Desembalatge i inspecció:

   Carefully remove the UPS from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.

2. Connecteu la bateria:

   The battery may be disconnected for shipping. Refer to the diagram below. Open the battery compartment and connect the internal battery terminals as indicated. Ensure a secure connection.

3. Col·locació:

   Place the UPS on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, or moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

   Plug the UPS power cord (6' with right-angle wall plug, NEMA 15-15P) directly into a grounded 3-prong wall outlet. Avoid using extension cords or surge protectors with the UPS input.

6. Connect Data and Coaxial Lines (Optional):

   For additional protection, connect your network cable (1 Gb dataline) and coaxial cables through the surge-protected ports on the rear of the UPS.

Press the power button located on the top panel to turn the UPS on or off. The LCD display will illuminate upon power-on.

Interactive LCD Display

The interactive LCD display provides real-time information about the UPS status, including load percentage, battery charge level, estimated runtime, and power conditions. The "Reactor Circle" around the display changes color to alert users of surges, dips, and remaining power, providing a quick visual indicator of power events.

Customizable RGB Ambient LED Lighting

The UPS features customizable RGB ambient LED lighting. Use the controls on the unit or associated software (if available) to adjust the color and brightness of the LED lights to match your gaming setup or personal preference. The LED colors may also change to indicate specific power events or alarms.

The UPS features a user-replaceable battery (part # APCRBC163, sold separately). The typical lifespan of the battery is 3-5 years, depending on usage and environmental conditions. Periodically clean the exterior of the UPS with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris to maintain proper airflow.

If you encounter issues with your APC Back-UPS Pro Gaming UPS, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
