This drive supports a variety of disc formats including CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, VCD, and SVCD. (Note: Blu-ray discs are not supported).

• Per inserir: Press the eject button on the front of the drive to open the disc tray. Carefully place your CD or DVD onto the tray with the label side facing up. Gently push the tray back into the drive until it clicks into place.
• To Eject (Windows): Press the eject button on the front of the drive. Alternatively, in File Explorer, right-click on the CD/DVD drive icon and select "Eject".
• To Eject (Mac OS): Due to macOS limitations, the tray cannot open via the button after playing or burning a disc. To eject a disc on Mac computers, right-click on the desktop icon for the disc and select "Eject," or choose "File" > "Eject" from the menu bar.

To play music CDs or movie DVDs, you will need a media player application installed on your computer (e.g., VLC Media Player, Windows Media Player). DVDs will only play on DVD drives that use the same region country codes. For example, if you are in Region 1 (Canada, United States), you need to set the DVD drive Region code to #1 to play Region 1 DVDs. CDs are not region coded.

Each external optical drive only allows you to change the region code 4-5 times.
