Configuració i instal·lació
Professional installation is recommended, especially for vehicle headliner adjustments. The process involves careful planning and execution.
- Remove Car Roof/Headliner: Carefully detach and remove the vehicle's headliner.
- Mark Pattern and Drill Holes: Design your desired star pattern on the headliner. Mark points and drill holes according to the pattern.
- Tie Up Fibers: Group fiber optic strands into small bundles to prevent tangling during insertion.
- Insert and Fix Fibers: Insert the fiber optic strands into the drilled holes. Secure them with hot melt adhesive or glass cement.
- Apply Sponge/Leather: Stick a layer of sponge or leather on the back of the roof to protect the fibers and extend their lifespan.
- Cut Excess Fibers: Trim any fiber optic strands that extend beyond the surface of the car roof.
- Connect Wires and Install Roof: Connect the light engine and associated wiring. Reinstall the headliner.
- Light Engine Placement: It is recommended to hide the light engine on the C-Pillar or behind the rear seat, possibly beside an amplifier, to ensure proper cooling and discreet placement.
