4. Configuració i instal·lació
4.1. Swimline Hydrotools Sand Filter Combo Set Installation
- Posicionament: Place the filter base on a firm, level surface, preferably concrete, as close to the pool as possible. Ensure adequate drainage and protection from direct weather if not designed for outdoor exposure.
- Tank Assembly: Place the sand filter tank onto the filter base.

- Remove the multi-port valve and cover the standpipe opening with a small cup or plastic bag to prevent sand from entering.
- Carefully add the recommended amount of filter sand (approximately 175 pounds for this 19-inch tank). Sand is not included with the system.
- Ensure the sand level is appropriate, typically leaving 6-8 inches from the top of the tank.
- Remove the cover from the standpipe opening.
- Multi-Port Valve Installation:
- Carefully place the multi-port valve onto the top of the tank, ensuring the standpipe aligns correctly with the valve's opening.
- Secure the multi-port valve to the tank using the provided clamp or flange. Ensure a tight, leak-free seal.

4.2. GAME 40mm to 1 1/2-Inch Adapter Conversion Kit Installation
The GAME adapter conversion kit is designed to allow 40mm hoses to be used with standard 1 1/4 inch or 1 1/2 inch filter ports, commonly found on Intex and Bestway pools, enabling integration with non-Intex brand filters.
- Identifica els ports: Determine which pool or filter ports require conversion from 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inch to accommodate 40mm hoses.
- Connecteu l'adaptador: Screw the threaded end of the GAME adapter into the larger 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inch port. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated to create a watertight seal.

5. Instruccions de funcionament
The multi-port valve on your sand filter allows for various operational modes. Always turn off the pump before changing the valve position.
- FILTRE: Normal filtering mode. Water flows through the sand bed, trapping debris, and returns to the pool.
- CONTRENAT: Used for cleaning the filter sand. Water flows in reverse through the sand bed, dislodging trapped debris, and is directed out the waste port.
- ESbandida: Used after backwashing to settle the sand bed and flush out any remaining dirty water from the valve before returning to filter mode.
- RESIDUS: Bypasses the filter and sends water directly out the waste port. Useful for vacuuming heavy debris directly to waste or lowering pool water level.
- RECIRCULAR: Evita el filtre i fa circular l'aigua directament de tornada a la piscina. Útil per barrejar productes químics sense filtrar.
- L'HIVERN: Used for winterizing the filter system.
5.1. Initial Startup and Backwashing
- Ensure all connections are secure and the pool is filled to the proper level.
- Set the multi-port valve to the "BACKWASH" position.
- Turn on the pump. Backwash for 2-3 minutes, or until the water in the sight glass (if present) runs clear.

- Set the multi-port valve to the "RINSE" position.
- Turn on the pump. Rinse for 30-60 seconds.

- Set the multi-port valve to the "FILTER" position.
- Turn on the pump. The system is now operating in normal filter mode.
Monitor the pressure gauge (if equipped). When the pressure rises 8-10 PSI above the clean operating pressure, it's time to backwash again.
6. Manteniment
- Rentat a contracorrent regular: Backwash the filter regularly as indicated by the pressure gauge or when water flow decreases.
