1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of the LAUNCH Creader Elite OBD2 Scanner, specifically designed for Honda and Acura vehicles. This diagnostic tool offers comprehensive system diagnostics, bi-directional control, and various reset functions to assist in vehicle maintenance and repair.

3. Configuració

3.1 Càrrega inicial

Before first use, ensure the device is adequately charged. Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB charging cable. Charge for at least 3 hours to ensure full power. The device may not turn on or may display a black screen if the battery is critically low.

3.2 Connexió al vehicle

1. Locate the vehicle's OBDII port, typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side.

3. Connect the OBD2 connector cable from the scanner to the vehicle's OBDII port.
4. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the ON position (engine off). The scanner should power on automatically.

To access online features and software updates, connect the device to a Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot. Navigate to the 'Settings' menu on the device screen to configure Wi-Fi.

4.1 Diagnòstic complet del sistema

The Creader Elite can diagnose all available electronic control systems in Honda and Acura vehicles. This includes reading and clearing fault codes, viewing live data, and performing active tests for systems such as ABS, SRS, Engine, Transmission, Brake System, SAS System, DPF, Instrument Cluster, Light System, TPMS, EPB, Battery System, ESP, Oil System, Interior Monitoring System, Gateway System, BCM System, EVAP System, and Windows System.

4.2 Funcions OBDII completes

For all OBDII compliant vehicles (1996 and newer), the scanner supports the following 10 OBDII test modes:

4.3 Control bidireccional (prova activa)

This function allows the diagnostic tool to send commands to the vehicle's Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to activate or test specific components or systems. This helps in quickly identifying faulty components without manual intervention. Examples inclouen:

4.5 Funcions avançades

The tool supports OE-level features such as Adaptation, Module Replacement, ADAS Calibration, Personalization, and Customization. These functions allow for advanced vehicle configuration and system adjustments.

4.6 Auto VIN Scan and Data Management

The Auto VIN scan feature automatically identifies vehicle information for quick and accurate diagnostics. The device also supports 4-in-1 live data stream display, diagnostic history feedback, and the ability to share vehicle health reports. A built-in DTC Lookup Library assists in understanding fault codes.

5. Actualitzacions de programari

The LAUNCH Creader Elite diagnostic tool supports lifetime free software updates for all Honda and Acura vehicles. Updates are performed via Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for a PC or laptop. To update, connect the device to Wi-Fi and navigate to the 'Update' menu on the device screen. Regular updates ensure access to the latest features and expanded vehicle coverage.

6. Manteniment

• Mantingueu el dispositiu net i lliure de pols i humitat.
• Guardeu el dispositiu en un lloc fresc i sec quan no l'utilitzeu.
• Eviteu deixar caure el dispositiu o sotmetre-lo a forts impactes.
• Feu servir només el cable de càrrega i els accessoris proporcionats.

7. Solució De Problemes

7.1 Device Does Not Turn On or Has a Black Screen

If the device does not power on or displays a black screen, it may be due to insufficient battery power. Connect the device to a charging connector via the USB cable and charge for at least 3 hours. Ensure the charging cable is securely connected.

7.2 Problemes de connectivitat

Ensure the OBD2 cable is firmly connected to both the scanner and the vehicle's OBDII port. Verify the vehicle's ignition is in the ON position. For Wi-Fi issues, check network settings and ensure a stable internet connection.
