1. Introducció

4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The GD168B clamp meter requires 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) for operation. To install or replace batteries:

1. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del mesurador.
2. Utilitzeu un tornavís per obrir el compartiment de la bateria.
3. Insert the 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
4. Substituïu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria i fixeu-la amb el cargol.

4.2 Connexió dels cables de prova

Per al voltage, resistance, capacitance, diode, and continuity measurements, connect the test leads to the appropriate input jacks.

• Insert the red test lead into the "VΩHz" or "INPUT" jack.
• Inseriu el cable de prova negre al connector "COM" (comú).
• Ensure a secure connection before taking measurements.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The GD168B features a smart measurement mode (AUTO) that automatically identifies the measurement type, simplifying operation. You can also manually select specific functions.

5.1 Encès/Apagat

Premeu el botó d'engegada (⏻) to turn the meter on or off. The meter may have an auto-power-off feature to conserve battery life.

5.2 AC/DC Voltage Mesura

1. Connecteu els cables de prova tal com es descriu a la secció 4.2.
2. Seleccioneu el voltage measurement mode (or use AUTO mode).
3. Connect the test probes in parallel to the circuit or component to be measured.

5.3 Mesura de corrent AC/DC (Clamp)

For current measurement, use the clamp jaw. Do not use test leads for current measurement with the clamp funció.

1. Select the AC or DC current measurement mode.
2. Obriu el clamp jaw and enclose only one conductor of the circuit. Ensure the jaw is fully closed.

5.4 Mesura del corrent d'irrupció

The inrush current function measures the initial surge of current when a device is turned on, useful for diagnosing motor startup issues or circuit breaker tripping.

1. Select the Inrush Current mode.
2. Obriu el clamp jaw and enclose the conductor of the device you wish to test.
3. Turn on the device, and the meter will capture and display the peak inrush current.

5.5 Vol. sense contactetage (NCV) Detecció

The NCV function allows for quick and safe detection of AC voltage sense contacte directe amb els conductors.

1. Seleccioneu el mode NCV.
2. Place the NCV sensor (usually at the top of the clamp jaw) near the conductor or outlet.

5.6 Altres funcions

• Resistència: Connect test leads to the component. Select resistance mode.
• Capacitat: Connect test leads to the capacitor. Select capacitance mode.
• Freqüència/Cicle de treball: Connect test leads to the signal source. Select frequency/duty cycle mode.
• Temperatura: Connect the thermocouple probe to the meter and place the probe tip on the object to be measured. Select temperature mode.
• Prova de díode: Connect test leads to the diode. Select diode mode.
• Prova de continuïtat: Connect test leads across the circuit or component. Select continuity mode. A beep indicates continuity.

• Retroiluminació/Llanterna: Use the dedicated button to turn on/off the display backlight or the built-in flashlight for working in dimly lit areas.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

Netegeu la c del comptadorasing amb anunciamp drap i detergent suau. No utilitzeu abrasius ni dissolvents. Assegureu-vos que el mesurador estigui sec abans de guardar-lo o utilitzar-lo.

6.2 Substitució de la bateria

Canvieu les piles quan aparegui l'indicador de bateria baixa a la pantalla. Consulteu la secció 4.1 per obtenir instruccions d'instal·lació de la bateria.

6.3 Emmagatzematge

Si el mesurador no s'utilitza durant un període prolongat, traieu-ne les piles per evitar fuites. Guardeu el mesurador en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
