1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Montech AIR 903 MAX E-ATX Mid Tower Case. Please read this manual thoroughly before beginning assembly to ensure proper setup and safe usage. Retain this manual for future reference.

2. Informació de seguretat

• Desconnecteu sempre l'alimentació de la presa de corrent abans d'instal·lar o treure qualsevol component.
• Handle components with care to avoid damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Consider using an anti-static wrist strap.
• Mantingueu les peces petites i els cargols fora de l'abast dels nens.
• Avoid placing the case in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
• Assegureu-vos que hi hagi una ventilació adequada al voltant de la carcassa per evitar el sobreescalfament.
• No intenteu modificar la carcassa ni els seus components, ja que això podria anul·lar la garantia i suposar riscos per a la seguretat.

The Montech AIR 903 MAX is an E-ATX mid-tower case designed for high airflow and extensive component compatibility. It features a mesh front panel for optimal ventilation and a tempered glass side panel to showcase your build.

5. Configuració i instal·lació

Before starting, ensure you have a clean, well-lit workspace and the necessary tools (e.g., screwdrivers, zip ties).

5.1 Extracció dels panells laterals

1. Locate the captive thumb screws on the rear of the case for both the tempered glass side panel and the solid steel side panel.
2. Desenrosqueu els cargols de polze.
3. Carefully slide the panels backward and lift them off. Place the tempered glass panel on a soft, flat surface to prevent scratches or damage.

5.2 Instal·lació de la placa base

The AIR 903 MAX supports E-ATX, ATX, Micro ATX, and Mini ITX motherboards.

1. Instal·leu la protecció d'E/S a l'obertura posterior de la carcassa.
2. Align your motherboard with the pre-installed standoffs. Ensure the standoffs match your motherboard's form factor.
3. Secure the motherboard with the appropriate screws provided in the accessory box.

5.3 Instal·lació de la targeta gràfica (GPU)

La carcassa admet targetes gràfiques de fins a 400 mm de llargada i 190 mm d'amplada.

1. Remove the necessary expansion slot covers from the rear of the case. These are secured with thumb screws.
2. Inseriu la targeta gràfica a la ranura PCIe adequada de la placa base.
3. Secure the graphics card to the case using the thumb screws.
4. Connect any required PCIe power cables from your power supply to the graphics card.

5.4 Instal·lació d'unitats d'emmagatzematge (HDD/SSD)

The case includes an HDD cage in the power supply shroud area, which can be removed using thumb screws for easier access or more space.

• Locate the drive bays or mounting points for 2.5" SSDs and 3.5" HDDs.
• Mount your drives using the provided screws.
• Connect SATA data and power cables to your drives.

5.5 Instal·lació de la unitat d'alimentació (PSU).

The PSU mounts at the rear bottom of the case.

1. Slide your PSU into the designated compartment from the rear of the case.
2. Align the PSU with the screw holes and secure it with the provided screws.
3. Connect the main ATX power cable, CPU power cable, and any other necessary power cables to your motherboard and components.

5.6 Instal·lació del ventilador i del sistema de refrigeració

The case supports 360mm AIO coolers at the front and top, and CPU tower coolers up to 180mm in height.

• AIO Liquid Coolers: Mount radiators and fans to the front or top fan mounts as per your AIO cooler's instructions.
• Ventiladors addicionals: If installing additional fans, ensure correct airflow direction (intake/exhaust).
• CPU Air Coolers: Install your CPU air cooler onto the motherboard before or after motherboard installation, depending on the cooler design.

5.7 Gestió de cables

Utilize the cable routing cutouts and velcro straps behind the motherboard tray to organize cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics.

• Route cables through the designated grommets and tie-down points.
• Use the included zip ties and pre-installed velcro straps to secure cables neatly.
• Ensure the SATA cable for the fan hub is connected to your PSU.

6. Funcionament

6.1 Encès

After all components are installed and cables are connected, replace the side panels. Connect your monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cable to the PSU. Flip the PSU switch to the ON position and press the power button on the top I/O panel of the case.

Control del ventilador 6.2 ARGB

The pre-installed ARGB fans can be controlled via the integrated LED/PWM controller or synchronized with your motherboard's ARGB software (if supported). Refer to your motherboard manual for ARGB header connection and software instructions.

• If using the case's controller, cycle through lighting effects using the dedicated button on the top I/O panel.
• If connecting to a motherboard, ensure the ARGB cable from the fan hub is connected to a compatible 3-pin 5V ARGB header on your motherboard.

7. Manteniment

7.1 Neteja dels filtres de pols

The mesh front panel and magnetic top dust filter are designed to prevent dust accumulation. Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain optimal airflow.

1. Front Mesh Panel: The front panel can be easily dismantled. Gently pull the bottom of the front panel to detach it from the case. Clean the mesh with a soft brush or compressed air.
2. Filtre magnètic superior: Simply lift the magnetic filter from the top of the case and clean it with water or compressed air. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.
3. Filtre inferior de la font d'alimentació: Slide out the filter located under the power supply shroud and clean it.

7.2 Neteja general

• Utilitzeu un suau, damp cloth to wipe down exterior surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• For interior cleaning, use compressed air to remove dust from components and internal surfaces.

8. Solució De Problemes

8.1 System Does Not Power On

• Assegureu-vos que el cable d'alimentació estigui connectat correctament tant a la font d'alimentació com a la presa de corrent.
• Verify the PSU switch is in the ON position.
• Check all internal power connections (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, PCIe power, SATA power for fan hub).
• Confirm the front panel power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard's front panel header.

8.2 Els ventiladors no giren o l'RGB no funciona

• Ensure the fan hub's SATA power cable is connected to your PSU.
• If using motherboard ARGB control, verify the 3-pin 5V ARGB cable from the fan hub is connected to the correct header on your motherboard.
• If using the case's controller, press the RGB button on the top I/O panel to cycle through modes.
• Check fan connections to the fan hub.

8.3 Excessive Fan Noise

• Ensure all fan screws are tightened to prevent vibrations.
• Clean dust from fans and filters (refer to Section 7.1).
• If fans are connected to the motherboard, adjust fan curves in your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI or software to reduce fan speed at lower temperatures.
