4. Configuració
4.1. Font d'alimentació
The PeakTech 8005 can be powered by a 9V battery or the included 9V AC adapter.

5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1. Mesura bàsica
- Premeu el botó d'engegada per encendre el dispositiu.
- Select the desired weighting:
- Premeu A/C to toggle between A-weighting (dBA, for general noise measurement simulating human hearing) and C-weighting (dBC, for measuring mechanical noise or peak sound pressure).
- Select the desired response time:
- Premeu RÀPID/LENT to toggle between Fast (125 ms, for capturing sudden noise changes) and Slow (1s, for average noise levels).
- Choose the appropriate level range using the NIVELL button. The device offers ranges: Lo (30-80 dB), Med (50-100 dB), Hi (80-130 dB), and Auto (30-130 dB). Auto mode automatically selects the best range.
- Position the microphone towards the sound source. The current sound level will be displayed on the LCD.
5.2. Registre de dades
The PeakTech 8005 can store up to 32,000 measurement points in its internal memory.
- Ensure the device is connected to a power source (AC adapter recommended for long logging periods).
