3. Configuració i instal·lació

Follow these steps to properly install the SmallRig Cage Kit on your Sony A6700 camera:

1. Prepara la càmera: Before installing the cage, ensure you remove the strap ring located on the right side of your Sony A6700 camera.
2. Enganxa la gàbia: Align the camera with the cage. Secure the camera to the cage using the 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and the M2.5 screw on the left side. This two-point locking mechanism ensures the camera is firmly held in place, preventing twisting.

3. Install HDMI Cable Clamp (Opcional): If you require stable HDMI transmission and port protection, attach the included cable clamp. It allows for quick assembly and disassembly via a thumb-screw. Note: If you need to use the headphone jack from the camera, you must remove the HDMI clamp cable first.

4.1. Enhanced Grip and Accessibility

The cage features an additional hinge arm on the battery door, which not only perfectly fits the camera's curve but also significantly improves the overall grip feeling. This ergonomic design provides a comfortable and secure hold of your camera, while maintaining full access to your ports, controls, and battery door.

4.2. Punts de muntatge múltiples

The cage is equipped with various mounting points to expand your camera rig:

• 1/4''-20 and 3/8''-16 Threaded Holes: For attaching accessories such as side handles (e.g., SmallRig 2916), magic arms with ball heads (e.g., SmallRig 2070), and other compatible equipment.
• 3/8"-16 Top Location Hole: Specifically designed for top handles (e.g., SmallRig 2165/3765) for low-angle shooting and improved portability.
• Muntatge de sabates fredes: Supports microphones, LED lights, and other cold shoe compatible accessories.
• Ranures per a corretges: Compatible with various straps including hand straps (e.g., SmallRig 3848), wrist straps (e.g., SmallRig PSW2398), and shoulder straps (e.g., SmallRig PSC2428).

4.3. Integrated Arca-Swiss Plate

The built-in quick release plate for Arca-Swiss allows for rapid transitions between different shooting setups, including tripods, stabilizers, or handheld devices. This feature is particularly useful for dynamic shooting environments and compatibility with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbals.

4.4. Multiple Usage Scenarios

5. Manteniment

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SmallRig Cage Kit, regularly inspect all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Clean the cage with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.

• Loose Camera: Ensure both the 1/4"-20 screw and the M2.5 screw are fully tightened.
• Access to Headphone Jack: Remember to remove the HDMI cable clamp if you need to access the camera's headphone jack.
