1. Introducció

The Lasko S16500 is a 16-inch oscillating pedestal fan designed to provide efficient air circulation and cooling. It features three speed settings and an adjustable height, allowing you to direct airflow precisely where needed. 2. Instruccions de seguretat importants

Si us plau, llegiu i guardeu aquestes importants instruccions de seguretat abans d'utilitzar aquest ventilador. Si no seguiu aquestes instruccions, podeu patir descàrregues elèctriques, incendis o lesions.

• Always plug the fan directly into a 120V AC wall outlet. Never use with an extension cord.
• No feu funcionar cap ventilador amb un cable o un endoll danyats. Descarteu el ventilador o torneu-lo a un centre de servei autoritzat per a l'examen i/o reparació.
• No passeu el cable sota la catifa. No cobriu el cable amb catifes, corredors o revestiments similars. No passeu el cable sota mobles o electrodomèstics. Col·loqueu el cable lluny de la zona de trànsit i on no s'ensopegui.
• To disconnect fan, first turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
• No introduïu ni permeteu que els dits o objectes estranys entrin a cap obertura de ventilació o d'escapament, ja que això podria provocar una descàrrega elèctrica o un incendi, o bé fer malbé el ventilador.

• This fan is not suitable for use in agricultural facilities including areas where livestock, poultry or other animals are confined. Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 547-7 (2008), or applicable state or local codes or standards relating to electrical requirements for Agricultural Buildings.
• This fan does not meet the requirements of NEC Article 500 (2008) for Hazardous Locations.
• Always place the fan on a stable, flat surface during operation to prevent tipping.
• Unplug the fan from the power outlet when not in use or when moving it.

Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts are present and accounted for:

• Fan Head Assembly (with motor and blades)

4. Muntatge i muntatge

The Lasko S16500 fan is designed for simple, no-tools assembly. Follow these steps to set up your fan:

1. Fixeu el pal a la base: Insert the bottom end of the adjustable height pole into the center opening of the fan base. Twist or secure according to the markings until it is firmly seated.
2. Attach the Fan Head to the Pole: Carefully place the fan head assembly onto the top of the adjustable height pole. Ensure it clicks into place or is secured with any provided locking mechanisms.
3. Ajustar l'alçada (opcional): Loosen the height adjustment collar on the pole, extend or retract the pole to your desired height, and then tighten the collar securely.
4. Posicionar el ventilador: Place the assembled fan on a stable, flat surface, ensuring the power cord is not obstructed or in a high-traffic area.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Once assembled, your Lasko S16500 fan is ready for operation.

5.1 Engegada/Apagada i Configuració de Velocitat

• Plug the fan's power cord into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
• Locate the speed control knob or buttons, typically on the fan's motor housing.
• Select your desired fan speed:
• 0 (Desactivat): Apaga el ventilador.
• 1 (Baix): Provides a gentle breeze.
• 2 (Mitjà): Offers moderate airflow.
• 3 (Alt): Delivers maximum air circulation.

5.2 Funció d'oscil·lació

To enable the fan to oscillate (swing from side to side), locate the oscillation knob or button on top of the motor housing. Press it down to engage oscillation. Pull it up to stop oscillation and direct airflow in a fixed direction.

5.3 Ajust d'alçada

The fan's height can be adjusted to suit your needs. Loosen the height adjustment collar on the pole, slide the inner pole up or down to the desired height, and then firmly tighten the collar to secure it in place.

5.4 Ajust d'inclinació

The fan head can be tilted up or down to direct airflow. Gently push or pull the fan head to the desired angle. The fan head will hold its position once adjusted.

6. Manteniment i cura

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your fan.

• Neteja: Desendolleu sempre el ventilador abans de netejar-lo. Feu servir un drap suau i sec.amp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For dust accumulation on the fan blades, you may carefully remove the front grille (if designed for removal) and wipe the blades. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and plugging in.
• Emmagatzematge: When not in use, store the fan in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original box or cover it to protect it from dust.
• Lubricació del motor: The fan motor is permanently lubricated and requires no further lubrication.
