Configuració
1. Càrrega inicial
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. Use the included USB-C charging cable to connect your device to a power adapter (sold separately) or a computer's USB port. The device fully charges in less than 2.5 hours with a 9W USB power adapter.
The Signature Edition also supports wireless charging. Place your Kindle on a compatible wireless charging dock (sold separately) to charge conveniently.

2. Encès / apagat
- To power on, press and hold the power button located on the bottom edge of the device for a few seconds until the screen lights up.
- To put the device to sleep, briefly press the power button. The screen will display a screensaver.
- To power off completely, press and hold the power button until a power dialog appears, then select "Power Off".
3. Connectivitat Wi-Fi
Your Kindle requires a Wi-Fi connection to download content and access online services. To connect:

After connecting to Wi-Fi, you will be prompted to register your Kindle to your Amazon account. This links your device to your Kindle library and allows you to purchase new content. Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in with your existing Amazon account or create a new one.

The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition features a responsive touchscreen for navigation. Tap to select items, swipe to scroll, and pinch to zoom (where applicable).
- To turn a page forward while reading, tap the right side of the screen.
- To turn a page backward, tap the left side of the screen.
- The 7-inch Paperwhite display offers 25% faster page turns compared to previous models.
- You can also double-tap the back or sides of the Kindle to turn a page or advance in a scrollable page. This feature can be adjusted or turned off in settings.

2. Downloading and Managing Content
Your Kindle has 32 GB of on-device storage, capable of holding thousands of books. All Amazon content is also stored in free cloud storage.

- Your Library: All purchased and downloaded content appears in your Library. You can filter by downloaded, unread, or collections.

3. Reading Features
- Auto-Adjusting Front Light: The Signature Edition features an auto-adjusting front light that adapts to your surroundings, allowing comfortable reading in bright sunlight or low-light conditions. You can also manually adjust the brightness and warmth settings.

4. Audible Audiobooks
Your Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition supports Audible audiobooks. Connect Bluetooth headphones or speakers to listen to your audiobooks. Note that Audible audiobook streaming over Bluetooth will reduce battery life.
- To connect Bluetooth devices: Go to Configuració > Wi-Fi i Bluetooth > Dispositius Bluetooth.
5. Impermeabilització
The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is waterproof (IPX8 rated), tested to withstand immersion in 2 meters of fresh water for 60 minutes. This allows you to read by the pool, in the bath, or at the beach without worry. If your Kindle gets wet, simply wipe it dry before charging.
