3.1 Components i controls

The DC-550 Pro features a robust design with intuitive controls:

• Botó d'encesa: Located on the left side, used to turn the monitor on/off.

4. Configuració

4.1 Battery Installation and Powering On/Off

1. Insert the provided NP-F550 battery into the battery compartment on the back of the monitor until it clicks into place.
2. Alternatively, connect a DC 12-18V power adapter to the DC IN port or a 5V 3A power bank to the Type-C port.
3. Press and hold the power button on the left side of the monitor to turn it on.
4. To turn off, press and hold the power button again until the display shuts down.

4.2 Connexió a una càmera

1. Mount the DC-550 Pro monitor to your camera's hot shoe using the VL-550 cold shoe adapter, or attach it to a rig/tripod via the 1/4-inch screw holes.
2. Connect one end of the appropriate HDMI cable (Standard HDMI or Mini HDMI, depending on your camera) to your camera's HDMI output port.
3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN port on the DC-550 Pro monitor.
4. Ensure both the camera and monitor are powered on. The camera's video feed should appear on the monitor.

4.3 Attaching the Sun Hood

The included sun hood helps to reduce glare and improve visibility in bright outdoor conditions.

1. Align the sun hood with the grooves around the monitor's screen.
2. Gently push the sun hood into place until it is securely attached.
3. The sun hood is quick-release and collapsible for easy storage and deployment.

5.1 Touchscreen and Button Control

The DC-550 Pro offers flexible control options:

• Full Touchscreen Mode: Use pinch-to-zoom gestures to easily zoom in and out of your footage. Tap the screen to access menu settings and functions.
• Mode de botó: Utilize the rotary knob and function buttons for precise selection and settings adjustments.

5.2 Navegació i configuració del menú

Double-tap the screen to wake up the menu. Click on the top right corner to access system settings. You can change the language to English from here.

Navigate through the menu using the touchscreen or the rotary knob to adjust various settings such as brightness, contrast, color temperature, and aspect ratio.

5.4 Custom 3D LUT Import

You can import custom 3D LUTs (Look Up Tables) via an SD card to apply various creative effects or to monitor footage shot in Log mode.

1. Save your .cube or .dat LUT files a una targeta SD.

3. Navigate to the 3D LUT menu option and select your desired LUT to apply it.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

• Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor's body.
• For the screen, use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. If necessary, dampen the cloth slightly with a screen cleaning solution.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as they can damage the screen or finish.

6.2 Emmagatzematge

• When not in use, store the monitor in its plastic carrying case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
• Remove the battery if storing for extended periods to prevent battery discharge or leakage.
