4. Configuració i instal·lació

The Faber HOB PRIME HT704 is designed for flexible installation as either a built-in hob or a freestanding cooktop. Professional installation by a qualified technician is highly recommended to ensure safety and proper functioning.

Connexió de gas:

The appliance must be connected to the gas supply by a qualified and registered gas fitter. Ensure the gas type matches the appliance specifications. Check for leaks using soapy water after connection.

Connexió elèctrica:

The auto-ignition system requires a DC1.5 V power supply. Ensure the electrical connection is made according to local regulations and safety standards.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Encendre un cremador:

1. Place your cookware on the cast iron pan support over the desired burner.
2. Push down and turn the corresponding metal knob counter-clockwise to the 'Ignite' position.
3. The auto-ignition will spark, lighting the burner. Hold the knob down for a few seconds to allow the flame supervision device to activate.
4. Once lit, adjust the flame to your desired intensity by turning the knob between the 'High' and 'Low' settings.
5. To turn off, turn the knob clockwise to the 'Off' position.

Ús del cremador:

• Use the 2.5 Kw burners for faster cooking and larger pots.
• The 1.5 Kw burners are suitable for simmering, smaller pots, or gentle heating.
• Always match the flame size to the base of your cookware to prevent energy waste and potential damage to handles.

6. Neteja i Manteniment

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your hob and ensure its continued safe operation.

Cleaning Burner Components:

• Remove the cast iron pan supports and brass burner caps when cool.
• Wash these components with warm soapy water. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive scrub brush can be used.
• Ensure all components are thoroughly dry before reassembling them. Moisture can affect ignition.
• Periodically check the burner ports for blockages and clean them with a fine wire or needle if necessary.
