Introducció

The xTool S1 1064nm Infrared Laser Module is designed to expand the capabilities of your xTool S1 laser engraver, enabling precise and detailed engraving on a wider range of materials, particularly metals, plastics, and acrylics. This module is a Class 4 laser product with an output power of 2000mW (2W), offering high precision for intricate designs.

Configuració

Instal·lació del mòdul

The 1064nm Infrared Laser Module is designed for easy installation and removal from your xTool S1 machine. Ensure the xTool S1 is powered off and unplugged before proceeding with installation or removal.

1. Apagar: Disconnect the xTool S1 from its power source.
2. Remove Existing Module (if applicable): If another laser module is installed, carefully remove the magnetic distance setter. Unscrew the two retaining screws and gently unplug the air and wire connections. Store the removed module safely.
3. Insert Infrared Module: Align the 1064nm Infrared Module with the carriage slot. Gently slide it into place until it clicks securely.

Ensure your xTool Creative Space software (or LightBurn, if preferred) is updated to the latest version to support the 1064nm Infrared Laser Module. The software will automatically detect the installed module upon connection.

• Download and install the latest xTool Creative Space software from the official xTool weblloc.
• Connect your xTool S1 machine to your computer via USB or Wi-Fi.
• Launch the software. The module should be recognized automatically.
• Perform any necessary calibration or alignment procedures as prompted by the software to ensure optimal engraving accuracy.

• Cuir: Unique capability to engrave leather with minimal burn marks, enhancing both appearance and quality.

Procés de gravat

Follow these general steps for an engraving project:

1. Creació del disseny: Create or import your design in the xTool Creative Space software.
2. Col·locació del material: Place your material securely on the xTool S1 workbed. Use the magnetic distance setter to ensure correct focal length.

Manteniment

Cleaning the Laser Lens

Regular cleaning of the laser lens is crucial for maintaining optimal engraving quality and module longevity. Dust and debris can accumulate on the lens, affecting laser performance.

• Ensure the module is cool and disconnected from power.
• Use a lint-free cloth or a specialized lens cleaning wipe.
• Apply a small amount of isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher) to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
