1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective operation of your Walfront T400A Infrared Thermometer. This non-contact digital handheld device is designed for measuring surface temperatures across a wide range, from -50°C to 400°C (-58°F to 752°F).

Avís: This device uses a laser for targeting. Avoid direct eye exposure to the laser beam. Do not point the laser at people or animals.

• Do not use the thermometer near explosive gases, steam, or dust.

4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The Walfront T400A requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included) for operation.

1. Locate the battery door at the bottom of the handle (refer to Figure 3.1).
2. Press the Battery Door Switch to open the battery compartment.
3. Introduïu dues piles AAA, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-) tal com s'indica a l'interior del compartiment.
4. Tanqueu la tapa de la bateria de manera segura fins que encaixi al seu lloc.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Prendre una mesura

1. Point the thermometer at the target object. Ensure the target is within the device's field of view.
2. Press and hold the Power On or Measuring Key (trigger) to activate the device and begin measurement. The laser target indicator will activate (if enabled) to help aim.
3. The measured temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.
4. Release the trigger to hold the current reading on the display (Data Hold function).

For optimal accuracy, ensure the distance to spot ratio (D:S) is maintained. The T400A has a D:S ratio of 12:1, meaning at 12 inches distance, it measures a 1-inch spot diameter.

5.2 Unit Conversion (°C/°F)

Per canviar entre Celsius (°C) i Fahrenheit (°F):

• With the device powered on, press the "°C/°F" Unit Conversion Switch (refer to Figure 3.1).
• The display will immediately switch to the selected temperature unit.

To turn the display backlight on or off:

• With the device powered on, press the Backlight Switch (refer to Figure 3.1).
• The backlight will illuminate or turn off.
• The backlight will automatically turn off within 7 seconds if no operation is performed, saving energy.

5.4 Laser Target Indicator

To enable or disable the laser pointer for targeting:

• With the device powered on, press the Laser Point Switch (refer to Figure 3.1).
• The laser will turn on or off.

Precaució: Never look directly into the laser beam or point it at others.

8.1 Neteja

• Per netejar el dispositiu, utilitzeu un suau, damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents.
• For the lens, use a soft cloth or cotton swab with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
• Assegureu-vos que el dispositiu estigui completament sec abans de guardar-lo o utilitzar-lo el següent cop.

8.2 Emmagatzematge

• Guardeu el termòmetre en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
• Traieu les piles si no heu d'utilitzar el dispositiu durant un període prolongat per evitar fuites.
