4. Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove the dry bath incubator from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
2. Col·locació: Place the unit on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Block Installation: Insert the desired heating blocks into the wells. Ensure they are seated properly for optimal heat transfer. The unit supports 4 blocks.
4. Connexió d'alimentació: Connect the power cord to the dry bath incubator and then to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power supply matches the instrument's requirements (100-120V, 50/60Hz).
5. Encesa inicial: Turn on the main power switch, usually located at the rear or side of the unit. The touch screen display should illuminate.

5. Funcionament

5.1. Funcionament bàsic

1. Encès: Ensure the unit is connected to power and switched on.
2. Configuració de la temperatura:
   • On the touch screen, navigate to the temperature setting menu.
   • Use the up/down arrows or numeric keypad to set the desired temperature within the range of ambient +5°C to 130°C.
   • Confirm the setting. The unit will begin heating to the set temperature.
3. Configuració del temporitzador:
   • Access the timer setting menu on the touch screen.
   • Set the desired time from 0 to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, or select continuous operation.
   • The timer will start once the set temperature is reached, or immediately if continuous operation is selected.
4. Col·locació de Samples: Once the desired temperature is reached, carefully place your samples in the heating blocks.
5. Seguiment: The touch screen will display the current temperature and remaining timer (if set).
6. Finalització de l'operació: At the end of the timed cycle, the unit may beep or display a completion message. Remove samples carefully using appropriate tools. Turn off the unit if not needed for further use.

5.2. PCR Sample Pre-treatment

The dry bath incubator is ideal for various PCR sample pre-treatment protocols. Refer to your specific PCR protocol for recommended temperatures and incubation times. The precise temperature control and uniformity of this unit ensure reliable results for sensitive applications.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your dry bath incubator.

• Neteja:
  • Desconnecteu sempre l'alimentació abans de netejar.
  • Allow the unit and blocks to cool completely.
  • Netegeu les superfícies exteriors amb un damp drap i detergent suau. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents.
  • Clean the wells and blocks as needed. Blocks can be removed for thorough cleaning.
• Substitució de fusibles: If the unit does not power on, check the fuse protector (250V 8A). Replace only with a fuse of the same type and rating. Consult a qualified technician if unsure.
• Emmagatzematge: When not in use for extended periods, store the unit in a clean, dry environment.
