2. Configuració i instal·lació
2.1 Desembalatge i configuració inicial
Abans de començar la instal·lació, assegureu-vos que hi hagi tots els components:
- One eero Outdoor 7 unit
- One 30W Outdoor PoE+ power adapter (18.6 ft.)
- Un suport de muntatge
- One M22 connector
- Mounting accessories for wood, fiber cement, vinyl siding, and stucco
Descarrega't el eero app on your smartphone (iOS or Android) and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in. The app will guide you through the process of connecting your eero Outdoor 7 to your existing eero network.

2.2 Selecció d'una ubicació de muntatge
Select a mounting location that is between 6 and 15 feet high and free from obstructions to ensure optimal Wi-Fi signal propagation. Ensure there is at least 1 foot of clearance above the device for proper installation onto the mounting bracket. The device should also be mounted at least 1 foot above any surface where water might accumulate.

2.3 Mounting on Vinyl Siding
For vinyl siding, use the provided vinyl siding clips. Insert the clips at a joint between siding panels. Secure the mounting bracket to these clips using the included screws. Ensure the eero logo on the plastic bracket is right-side up. Tighten the clips and use the leveling screws to ensure the bracket is vertical and stable. The leveling screws should be hand-tightened at least a half-turn beyond the point where the bracket is approximately level.
2.4 Connexió d'alimentació
The eero Outdoor 7 can be powered via AC or Power over Ethernet (PoE+).
- Wireless Connection (AC Power): Plug the AC adapter into an outdoor outlet and connect it to the eero Outdoor 7.
- Wired Connection (PoE+): Ensure the Ethernet cable is round, outdoor-rated, and long enough. Assemble the M22 connector around the Ethernet cable with the ridge of the seal facing the sealing nut. Connect the Ethernet cable to the eero Outdoor 7 and hand-tighten the connector and sealing nut until both sides are sealed against the device.
Important: The device must be installed with ports facing downward to ensure proper function and prevent water accumulation. Failure to do so will void the warranty.

Once installed and connected, the eero Outdoor 7 seamlessly integrates into your existing eero network. It uses patented TrueMesh software, combined with TrueRoam i TrueChannel, to proactively maintain the optimal and most reliable Wi-Fi connection possible. This ensures smooth streaming, browsing, and video calls without interruptions, even with multiple devices connected.
Manage your network, receive automatic updates, and control settings from anywhere using the intuitive eero app. The device operates silently, maintaining a peaceful outdoor environment.

4. Manteniment
The eero Outdoor 7 is designed for minimal maintenance due to its durable and weatherproof construction. Periodically inspect the device and its connections for any visible damage or debris. A simple wipe-down with a damp cloth is sufficient to keep the unit clean. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
