3. Configuració
3.1 Connexió de l'SSD
The SSK Portable External SSD is designed for plug-and-play operation, requiring no driver installation for most operating systems. It is compatible with devices featuring USB-C or USB-A ports.
- For USB-C Devices (e.g., modern laptops, smartphones, tablets): Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to the SSD's USB-C port. Connect the other end (USB-A) to the included USB-A to USB-C adapter, then plug the adapter into your device's USB-C port.
- For USB-A Devices (e.g., older laptops, desktops): Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to the SSD's USB-C port. Connect the other end (USB-A) directly into your device's USB-A port.

3.2 Initializing and Formatting (If Necessary)
For new drives or if the drive is not recognized, you may need to initialize and format it. Most operating systems will prompt you to do this. If not, refer to your operating system's disk management tools:
- Windows: Use Disk Management. Right-click 'This PC' > 'Manage' > 'Disk Management'. Find the SSD, initialize it (GPT recommended), and create a new simple volume with a suitable file system (e.g., NTFS).
- macOS: Use Disk Utility. Go to 'Applications' > 'Utilities' > 'Disk Utility'. Select the SSD, click 'Erase', and choose a format (e.g., APFS or Mac OS Extended).
- Android: The device should be recognized automatically. If prompted, allow it to format.

- macOS: Drag the SSD's icon from the desktop to the Trash, or right-click the icon and select 'Eject'.
- Android: Go to 'Settings' > 'Storage' > 'Eject' next to the SSD.
