3. Configuració i instal·lació

The EMKE hot water radiator is designed for wall mounting. A mounting kit is included. Please ensure you have the necessary tools and expertise for installation.

3.1. Desembalatge i inspecció

• Inspect for any damage during transit. Report any damage immediately to the supplier.

3.2. Muntatge a la paret

1. Tria la ubicació: Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it can support the weight of the radiator when filled with water. Consider the distance from the wall (55 mm from interface to wall).
2. Marca els punts de perforació: Use the provided brackets as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall. Ensure the marks are level.
3. Forats: Drill holes of appropriate size and depth for the screw dowels.
4. Insert Dowels: Insert the screw dowels into the drilled holes.
5. Col·loca els suports: Securely attach the mounting brackets to the wall using the long screws.
6. Muntar el radiador: Carefully lift the radiator and place it onto the installed brackets. Ensure it is securely seated.

3.3. Connexió de fontaneria

The radiator features a central connection with a G1/2" thread and a 50 mm connection size. Note: Valves are not included and must be purchased separately.

• Connect the radiator to your central heating system using appropriate G1/2" valves and fittings.
• Ensure all connections are tight and sealed to prevent leaks.
• Double-layer radiators can be mounted in both directions (flow and return can be swapped), while single-layer radiators have a fixed mounting direction.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

Your EMKE radiator operates as part of a hot water central heating system. Once installed and connected, its operation is typically controlled by your home's central heating thermostat and boiler.

4.1. Inici inicial

1. After installation, slowly fill the heating system with water, ensuring all air is bled from the radiator using the bleed valve (if present on your valve setup).
2. Check all connections for leaks once the system is pressurized.
3. Gradually increase the system temperature to allow the radiator to heat up.

4.2. Funcionament normal

• The radiator will heat up when hot water from your central heating system circulates through it.
• The recommended inlet and outlet water temperatures are 75°C / 55°C for optimal performance.
• The wall-mounted design ensures efficient heat distribution and saves space.

5. Manteniment

5.1. Neteja

• Ensure the radiator is cool before cleaning.

• If the radiator is not heating evenly (cold spots at the top), it may contain trapped air.
• Turn off your central heating system and wait for the radiator to cool down.
• Use a radiator key to slowly open the bleed valve (usually located at the top corner of the radiator).
• Hold a cloth or container under the valve to catch any water.
• Air will hiss out. Once water starts to come out steadily, close the valve.
• Check the system pressure and top it up if necessary after bleeding.

5.3. Controls anuals

• Have your central heating system, including radiators, checked annually by a qualified heating engineer.
• Ensure system pressure is maintained within the recommended range.
