This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new espresso machine. 4. Configuració inicial

  1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Keep packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Col·locació: Place the machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation.

    Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Wash it with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Place the tank back into its position, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  4. Primer ús / Imprimació:
    • Connecteu la màquina a una presa de corrent elèctrica amb terra.

    • Place a large cup under the portafilter head (without portafilter) and under the steam wand.
    • Once the lights are solid, press the single espresso button to run water through the brewing head until water flows out. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
    • Turn the steam knob to the steam position to release water/steam from the steam wand until a steady stream of steam appears. Close the steam knob.
    • This process primes the pump and cleans the internal components.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Preparació d'espresso

  1. Preheat Cups: Place your espresso cups on the cup warming plate on top of the machine.

  2. Preparació del portafiltre:
    • Select the appropriate filter basket (1-cup, 2-cup, or ESE pod).
    • For ground coffee, add fresh, finely ground espresso coffee to the filter basket. Use the measuring spoon for accurate dosing (approx. 7g for 1 cup, 14g for 2 cups).

    Place your preheated cup(s) under the portafilter spouts. Press the single or double espresso button. The machine will automatically dispense the correct amount of espresso. The pre-function ensures even extraction.
  5. Monitor de pressió: Observe the pressure gauge during brewing. The optimal pressure range is typically indicated on the gauge.
  6. Treure el portafiltre: Once brewing is complete, wait a few seconds for the pressure to dissipate. Carefully remove the portafilter by rotating it to the left. Dispose of the used coffee grounds.

5.2. Escuma de llet

  1. Preparar la llet: Fill the stainless steel milk pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy). Do not fill more than one-third full.
  2. Activa Steam: Press the steam button on the control panel. Wait for the steam indicator light to become solid, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.
  3. Vareta de vapor de purga: Place an empty cup under the steam wand and briefly turn the steam knob to release any condensed water. Close the knob.

    Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Turn the steam knob fully open. Angle the pitcher slightly to create a vortex. Move the pitcher up and down to incorporate air and heat the milk. Continue until desired foam consistency and temperature are reached.

6.3. Descalcificació

Descaling is crucial to remove mineral buildup and maintain machine performance. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage, typically every 2-3 months.

  1. Use a commercial descaling solution specifically designed for espresso machines. Follow the instructions on the descaling solution packaging.
  2. Empty the water tank and fill it with the descaling solution mixed with water according to the product's instructions.
