Configuració

Before first use, please follow these steps to ensure proper operation and cleanliness.

2. Components nets: Wash the glass carafe, filter basket, and permanent filter (if using) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

5. Posició: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter.

Instruccions de funcionament

Basic Brewing

1. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to your desired cup level (up to 12 cups).
2. Afegeix el marc de cafè: Place the filter basket into its holder. Insert a paper filter (if not using the permanent filter) and add the desired amount of ground coffee. A general guideline is one tablespoon of coffee grounds per cup.
3. Posició de la garrafa: Place the glass carafe securely on the warming plate.
4. Comença a fer cervesa: Press the "BREW" button on the touchscreen control panel. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
5. Sistema antigoteig: The anti-drip system allows you to temporarily remove the carafe during brewing to pour a cup. The flow will stop for a short period. Return the carafe within 30 seconds to prevent overflow.

6. Gaudeix: Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the keep warm function.

Programmable Brewing (24-Hour Timer)

Set the coffee maker to automatically start brewing at a specific time within a 24-hour period.

1. Estableix l'hora actual: Ensure the current time is set correctly on the LCD display. Use the "HR" and "MIN" buttons to adjust.
2. Preparar el cafè: Follow steps 1 and 2 from "Basic Brewing" (fill water, add coffee grounds).

Customizing Brew Strength (1-4 Cup Option)

The coffee maker offers options to adjust coffee concentration, especially useful for smaller batches.

• Configuració 1-4 tasses: For brewing 1 to 4 cups, press the "1-4" button. This setting optimizes the brewing process for smaller quantities, ensuring full flavor extraction.
• Brew Strength Selection: The control panel allows selection between "NORMAL" and "BOLD" brew strengths. Select your preference before starting the brew cycle.

After brewing, the coffee maker automatically enters the keep warm mode, maintaining coffee temperature for up to 4 hours.

• Temperatura ajustable: Use the "CARAFE TEMP" setting on the control panel to select Low, Medium, or High warming temperature.

Manteniment i Neteja

Mineral deposits (calcium) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descale every 2-4 weeks, depending on water hardness.

1. Preparació de la solució: Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and cold water. A common ratio is 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water. For example, 4 cups vinegar to 8 cups water.
2. Run Half Cycle: Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Start a brewing cycle. After about half the solution has brewed through, turn off the coffee maker.
3. Remullar: Let the coffee maker soak for at least 15 minutes to allow the vinegar to work on the deposits.
