4. Configuració i instal·lació

The TracPak Storage Box is designed for use with YakAttack GearTrac, MightyMount, or similar kayak track systems. A compatible mounting base (sold separately) is required for installation.

4.1. Attaching to a Kayak Track System

1. Ensure your kayak is equipped with a compatible track system (e.g., GearTrac, MightyMount).
2. Secure the YakAttack TracPak Quick Release Mounting Base (sold separately) to your kayak's track system according to its specific instructions.
3. Align the TracPak Storage Box with the mounting base. The box features a single-point mounting mechanism.
4. Press the box firmly onto the base until it clicks securely into place. Verify that the box is stable and does not wobble.

4.2. Stacking Multiple TracPak Boxes

The TracPak system allows for stacking multiple boxes to expand storage capacity. Each box is designed to interlock with another.

1. Place the first TracPak box onto the mounting base as described in Section 4.1.
2. Align the bottom of the second TracPak box with the top of the first box. The design ensures a stable, interlocking fit.
3. Gently press the upper box onto the lower box until it seats firmly.
4. Repeat for additional boxes as needed. Ensure the entire stack is stable before use.

4.3. Using the Leash Eyelet

For added security, especially in rough water conditions, utilize the integrated leash eyelet. Attach a suitable leash (not included) from the eyelet to a secure point on your kayak to prevent accidental loss.

5.1. Opening and Closing the Box

The TracPak box features a secure latch mechanism. To open, gently lift the latch tab. To close, press the lid down firmly until the latch engages with an audible click.

A key feature of the TracPak system is the ability to access the contents of any individual box within a stack without disassembling the entire stack. Simply open the lid of the desired box.

The included adhesive labels can be applied to the exterior of the box to quickly identify its contents. This is particularly useful when using multiple boxes for different types of tackle or tools.
