1. Introducció

The NEC VE281X is a 2800-lumen DLP projector designed for various environments, including small-to-medium-sized businesses, educational settings, and home theater applications. This lightweight and compact projector offers essential features such as 3D Ready technology, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a built-in 7W speaker. It incorporates automated technologies like Auto Power On and quick startup/shutdown, along with an ECO Mode for extended lamp vida.

4. Projector Overview

4.1 Davant View

5. Configuració

5.1 Col·locació

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface or mount it securely. Ensure there is adequate space around the projector for ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

5.2 Connexió de potència

1. Connect the supplied power cable to the projector's power input socket (refer to Figure 4.3).
2. Connecteu l'altre extrem del cable d'alimentació a una presa de corrent amb connexió a terra.

5.3 Connexió de fonts d'entrada

Connect your video source (e.g., laptop, Blu-ray player) to the appropriate input port on the projector's rear panel (refer to Figure 4.3).

• HDMI: For high-definition digital video and audio, connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI IN port.
• VGA (entrada d'ordinador): For analog computer signals, connect a VGA cable to the COMPUTER IN port.
• Vídeo compost: For standard definition analog video, connect an RCA cable to the VIDEO IN port.
• Entrada d’àudio: If using VGA or Composite Video, connect an audio cable to the AUDIO IN port for sound.

5.4 Encès inicial

Premeu el botó PODER button on the projector's control panel or the remote control to turn on the projector. The power indicator light will illuminate.

5.5 Ajust de l'enfocament i el zoom

Once an image is projected, adjust the focus and zoom rings located near the lens (refer to Figure 4.2) until the image is clear and fills your desired screen size.

6. Funcionament del projector

6.1 Encès/Apagat

• Encès: Premeu el botó PODER button. The projector will initiate a quick startup sequence.
• Apagar: Premeu el botó PODER button twice. The projector will enter a quick shutdown sequence and the fan will continue to run briefly to cool the lamp.

6.2 Selecció de la font

Premeu el botó FONT button on the control panel or remote control to cycle through available input sources (HDMI, Computer In, Video In). The projector also supports Auto Power On via RGB (15-pin) input, automatically detecting a signal.

6.3 Mode ECO

The ECO Mode reduces lamp brightness and power consumption, extending lamp life up to 6000 hours. This mode also contributes to carbon savings. Refer to the on-screen display (OSD) menu for options to enable or disable ECO Mode.

6.4 3D Ready Functionality

The NEC VE281X is 3D Ready. To experience 3D content, you will need compatible 3D source material, a 3D-capable player, and active 3D glasses (sold separately). Refer to the projector's on-screen menu for 3D settings and synchronization options.

7. Manteniment

7.1 Lamp Substitució

El projector lamp té una vida útil limitada. Quan el lamp indicator illuminates or the image becomes dim, the lamp pot necessitar substitució. Avís: Lamp replacement should only be performed by qualified service personnel or by strictly following the detailed instructions in the full service manual. Do not attempt to replace the lamp without proper guidance, as it involves high voltage and hot components.

7.2 Neteja

• Lent: Netegeu suaument la lent del projector amb un drap suau i sense borrissol dissenyat específicament per a superfícies òptiques. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius.
• Projector Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the projector. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with a mild detergent can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the projector.
• Reixes de ventilació: Periodically check and clean the ventilation grilles (refer to Figures 4.4a and 4.4b) to ensure unobstructed airflow. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust buildup.

8. Solució De Problemes

Si teniu problemes amb el projector, consulteu els passos habituals següents per a la resolució de problemes:

• Sense imatge:
  • Assegureu-vos que el projector estigui encès i que l'indicador d'engegada estigui encès.
  • Verify that the video source is properly connected to the correct input port.
  • Premeu el botó FONT botó per seleccionar l'entrada correcta.
  • Comproveu si el cable de vídeo està danyat o connexions soltes.
• Imatge distorsionada o borrosa:
  • Adjust the focus and zoom rings on the projector lens.
  • Ensure the projection surface is flat and perpendicular to the projector.
• Sense so:
  • If using HDMI, ensure the source device is sending audio via HDMI.
  • If using VGA or Composite Video, ensure an audio cable is connected to the AUDIO IN port.
  • Comproveu la configuració de volum tant al projector com al dispositiu font.
• Sobreescalfament del projector:
  • Ensure ventilation grilles are clear and not obstructed.
