Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your drill press.
1. Adjusting Drilling Speed
The drill press offers 12 speed levels (200 to 2,450 rpm) to suit different materials. Speed adjustment is done by changing the belt position on the pulleys located in the headstock.
- Desconnecteu la font d'alimentació.
- Open the top cover of the headstock.
- Loosen the motor tensioning bolt to allow belt movement.
- Move the belt to the desired pulley combination for the required speed. Refer to the speed chart inside the cover.
- Retighten the motor tensioning bolt and close the cover.

2. Adjusting Work Table
The work table can be adjusted for height, rotation, and tilt to accommodate various workpieces.
- Ajust d'alçada: Loosen the table locking handle and use the crank to move the table up or down the column. Securely tighten the handle once the desired height is reached.
- Rotació: The table can rotate up to 90° around the column. Loosen the table locking handle, rotate, and retighten.
- Inclinació: The table can tilt up to 45° left or right. Loosen the tilt locking bolts, adjust the angle, and retighten.

3. Setting Drilling Depth
The adjustable depth stop allows for precise and repeatable drilling up to a maximum depth of 60 mm.
- Lower the drill bit until it just touches the workpiece.
- Lock the spindle in this position.
- Adjust the depth stop collar to the desired drilling depth.
- Unlock the spindle. The drill will stop at the preset depth during operation.

4. Drilling Operation

- Select the appropriate drill bit (1.5 to 16 mm diameter) and secure it firmly in the chuck.
- Position the workpiece on the table and clamp it securely to prevent movement during drilling.
- Adjust the table height and depth stop as needed.
- Turn on the drill press using the ON switch.
- Slowly lower the drill bit into the workpiece using the three-arm cross handle, applying steady, even pressure.
- Once drilling is complete, retract the drill bit from the workpiece.
- Turn off the drill press using the OFF switch.
Manteniment
