Configuració i instal·lació
Before beginning installation, ensure your system is powered off and unplugged. Refer to your motherboard's manual for specific CPU socket preparation instructions.

The SE-224-XTS supports Intel LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115X (1150, 1151, 1155, 1156) and AMD AM4, AM5 sockets. Verify your CPU socket type before proceeding.

Passos d'instal·lació (Guia general):
- Prepareu la CPU i la placa base: Clean the CPU surface thoroughly. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the center of the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).
- Instal·leu la placa posterior (si cal): For Intel sockets, install the appropriate backplate behind the motherboard. For AMD sockets, the stock backplate is typically used.
- Col·loqueu els suports de muntatge: Secure the correct mounting brackets to the heatsink base according to your CPU socket type.
- Mount Heatsink: Carefully align the heatsink with the mounting holes on the motherboard and gently lower it onto the CPU. Secure the heatsink using the provided screws, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.
- Attach Cooling Fan: Use the included fan clips to attach the 120mm PWM fan to the heatsink. Ensure the fan is oriented to blow air through the heatsink fins towards the rear or top of your PC case for optimal airflow.

Funcionament
Once installed, the ID-COOLING SE-224-XTS operates automatically. The 120mm PWM fan's speed is controlled by your motherboard based on CPU temperature, ensuring efficient cooling when needed and quiet operation during lighter loads.

For optimal performance, ensure proper airflow within your PC case. Good case ventilation helps the cooler dissipate heat more effectively.
Manteniment
Un manteniment regular ajuda a garantir la longevitat i el rendiment òptim del refrigerador de la CPU.
- Eliminació de pols: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months), power off your system and use compressed air to remove dust buildup from the heatsink fins and fan blades. Dust accumulation can impede airflow and reduce cooling efficiency.
