2. Components

The DASH SmartStore™ Deluxe Stirring Popcorn Maker includes the following main components:

• Popcorn Maker Base: Contains the heating plate, stirring mechanism, and power button.
• Stirring Bar: Ensures even distribution of kernels during popping.
• Transparent Lid/Serving Bowl: Covers the heating plate during operation and doubles as a serving bowl.
• Butter Melting Tray: Integrated into the lid for melting butter during popping.

3. Configuració

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and components are clean. Place the popcorn maker on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

1. Ensure the stirring bar is correctly attached to the center of the heating plate.
2. Place the transparent lid onto the base, aligning the handles.

Follow these steps to make popcorn:

1. Remove the transparent lid from the popcorn maker base.
2. Add 30ml of cooking oil (e.g., vegetable, canola, or coconut oil) to the heating plate. Spread evenly.
3. Add 4.6 ounces of popcorn kernels to the heating plate. Ensure kernels are evenly distributed by the stirring bar.
4. If desired, sprinkle sugar evenly over the kernels for kettle corn.
5. Place the transparent lid back onto the base. Ensure the black vent cover on top of the lid is removed to allow steam to escape.
6. Turn on the power switch located on the front of the base. The stirring bar will begin to rotate, and the heating plate will warm up.
7. If adding butter, place a small amount of butter in the butter melting tray on top of the lid. The heat from the popping process will melt it.
8. Allow approximately 3 minutes for the popcorn to pop. The popping will slow down once complete.
9. Once popping stops, turn off the power switch and unplug the unit immediately.
10. Carefully remove the lid using the handles. The lid can be inverted and used as a serving bowl.
