4. Configuració

4.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del monitor.
2. Insert the specified type and number of batteries (e.g., 4 x AA batteries) according to the polarity indicators (+ and -).
3. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

4.2. Fixació del maneguet

1. Insert the air plug of the cuff into the air jack on the side of the monitor. Ensure it is firmly connected.
2. The cuff is designed for upper arm circumference between 22-42 cm. Ensure the cuff size is appropriate for your arm.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Abans de prendre una mesura

• Eviteu menjar, beure alcohol, fumar, fer exercici i banyar-se durant 30 minuts abans de la mesura.
• Descansa almenys 5 minuts abans de prendre una mesura.
• Seieu en una posició còmoda amb l'esquena recolzada i els peus a terra.
• Col·loca el braç sobre una superfície plana de manera que el maneguet quedi a l'alçada del cor.
• Ensure clothing does not restrict your arm.

5.2. Prendre una mesura

1. Wrap the cuff firmly around your upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above the elbow joint. The air tube should run down the center of your arm.
2. Premeu el botó INICI/PARA button. The cuff will automatically inflate, and the measurement will begin.
3. Estar quiet i no parlar durant la mesura.
4. Un cop finalitzada la mesura, es mostraran a la pantalla la pressió sistòlica, la pressió diastòlica i la freqüència cardíaca.
5. Premeu el botó INICI/PARA button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.

5.3. Funció de memòria

The device stores up to 99 measurements for two users. To review lectures anteriors:

• Use the user selection button (if available, often another person icon) to switch between User 1 and User 2.
