Assemblea

Your PowerSmart snow blower requires some assembly before first use. Follow these steps carefully.

Unpacking and Contents:

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed below are present. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer service.

Muntatge del mànec:

1. Attach the upper handle to the lower handle using the provided handle bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
2. Connect the control cables (auger and drive) to their respective levers on the handle. Refer to the diagram for correct routing.

Skid Shoes and Shave Plate:

Install the skid shoes and shave plate. Adjust the skid shoes to the desired height based on the surface you will be clearing. For paved surfaces, set them lower; for gravel, set them higher to prevent picking up debris.

Nota important: As suggested by user experience, do not center the skid shoes during installation. Allow the machine to rest on the ground and then screw them in place to minimize the gap under the red metal part, ensuring a cleaner scrape.

Before each use, perform a pre-operation check. Ensure all fasteners are tight, controls operate freely, and there are no visible signs of damage.

Combustible i petroli:

• Oli de motor: Fill the engine with 4-cycle engine oil (SAE 5W-30 is recommended for cold weather). The engine requires approximately 20 oz (0.6 liters). Check the oil level using the dipstick; do not overfill.
• Combustible: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline (minimum 87 octane). The fuel tank capacity is approximately 0.5 gallons. Do not use E85 fuel.

Arrencada del motor:

1. Insert the ignition key into the key switch.

1. Release the auger control lever.
2. Release the drive control lever.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your snow blower. Always turn off the engine, remove the key, and disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any maintenance.
