1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Bear HotCup Hot Water Dispenser. Please read these instructions thoroughly before first use and retain them for future reference. 4. Configuració

4.1 Desembalatge i col·locació

1. Carefully remove the hot water dispenser from its packaging.

3. Place the appliance on a dry, stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit. Keep it away from walls and other appliances.

4.2 Neteja inicial

Before first use, it is recommended to clean the water tank and run a full cycle with clean water.

1. Remove the water tank from the main unit by lifting it using its handle.
2. Wash the water tank with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

4.4 Connexió d'alimentació

2. The appliance will emit a sound, and the display will illuminate, indicating it is in standby mode.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Tauler de control acabatview

The dispenser features a touch-sensitive control panel on its top surface. The display shows the selected temperature and volume.

5.2 Engegada/apagada

• To power on, ensure the appliance is plugged in. It will enter standby mode.
• To power off, unplug the appliance from the mains.

5.3 Engaging/Disengaging Child Lock

The child lock prevents accidental dispensing of hot water.

• When the appliance is in standby, the child lock is automatically engaged (indicated by a lock icon).
• To disengage, touch and hold the lock icon on the control panel for a few seconds until it unlocks.
• The lock will automatically re-engage after a period of inactivity.

5.4 Selecting Temperature

The dispenser offers 6 temperature presets:

• 45°C (for milk)
• 55°C (for honey water)
• 70°C (for green tea)
• 85°C (for coffee)
• 90°C (for black tea)
• Boil (100°C)

Touch the 'Temperature' icon on the control panel repeatedly to cycle through the available temperature settings. The selected temperature will be displayed.

5.5 Selecting Water Volume

The dispenser offers 5 water volume choices:

• 150 ml
• 200 ml
• 250 ml
• 300 ml
• 500 ml

Touch the 'Water Volume' icon on the control panel repeatedly to cycle through the available volume settings. The selected volume will be displayed.

5.6 Dispensació d'aigua

The dispenser operates with low noise (approximately 43.5dB) and includes a soft night light at the water outlet, making it suitable for use without disturbance, even at night.

6. Manteniment

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your hot water dispenser.

6.1 Neteja exterior

• Desconnecteu sempre l'aparell abans de netejar-lo.
• Netegeu les superfícies exteriors del dispensador amb un drap suau iamp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents.

6.2 Neteja de la safata de degoteig

• The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning. Slide it out from the front of the unit.
• Empty any collected water and wash the tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reinserting.

6.4 Automatic Cleaning Program

This program helps to remove accumulated water and deep clean the interior of the appliance.

2. Place an empty container with a capacity of at least 500ml under the water outlet.
3. Simultaneously press the 'Water Volume' and 'Water Temperature' buttons on the control panel.

5. Discard the water collected in the container.

6.5 Descalcificació

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the appliance, especially in hard water areas. Descaling is recommended periodically.

• Use a descaling solution suitable for hot water appliances, following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Alternatively, a solution of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) can be used. Fill the water tank with the descaling solution.
• Run the automatic cleaning program or dispense several cycles of hot water until the tank is empty.
• Rinse the water tank thoroughly and run several cycles with fresh, clean water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.
