4. Funcionament

4.1 Arrencada del motor

Follow these steps to start your lawn mower:

1. Ensure the lawn mower is on a flat, level surface.
2. Press the primer bulb (if equipped) 3-5 times until fuel is visible.
3. Hold the engine stop lever (1 in Figure 2.2) firmly against the handlebar. The engine will not start unless this lever is held.
4. Pull the recoil starter cord with a swift, continuous motion until the engine starts. Do not let the cord snap back.
5. Once the engine starts, release the recoil starter cord slowly.
6. To engage the rear-wheel drive, hold the drive lever (2 in Figure 2.2) against the handlebar. Release it to disengage.

4.2 Sega

For best results, mow when the grass is dry. Overlap cutting swaths slightly to ensure even coverage.

• Remove the grass collection bag and empty it.
• Tilt the mower onto its side (with the carburetor facing upwards to prevent oil leakage) and scrape off any accumulated grass clippings from the underside of the deck.

• Drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer. Run the engine until it stops to consume all fuel in the carburetor.
