• INPUT (Left/Right): 1/4" TS/TRS Jack inputs for connecting instruments or line-level sources.
• THRU (Left/Right): 1/4" TS/TRS Jack outputs that pass the input signal directly through, allowing connection to an instrument amplifier or monitor.

4. Configuració

Follow these steps to set up your Audibax ADI-20A Active DI Box:

1. Connecteu l'instrument: Connect your instrument (e.g., guitar, bass, keyboard) to the INPUT (Left/Right) 1/4" Jack on the ADI-20A using a standard instrument cable.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

• PAD Switch (0/-15dB): If your instrument or source has a very high output level, and you notice distortion or clipping at the mixer input, engage the -15 dB PAD switch. This attenuates the input signal by 15dB, preventing overload. For most instruments, the 0dB setting is appropriate.
• Ground-Lift Switch (LIFT/GND): If you experience a persistent hum or buzz in your audio signal, it may be caused by a ground loop. Try flipping the ASCENSOR/GND switch to the LIFT position. This disconnects the ground connection between the input and output, often resolving ground loop issues. If the hum persists or worsens, return the switch to GND.
• HPF Switch (80Hz): Involucrar el 80 Hz HPF switch to activate a high-pass filter. This filter removes frequencies below 80Hz, which can be useful for eliminating unwanted low-frequency rumble, stage vibrations, or excessive bass from certain instruments, resulting in a cleaner and more defined sound.

It is primarily used to correct phase cancellations that can occur when combining signals from multiple microphones or direct inputs, especially in multi-mic setups or when blending a DI signal with a miked amplifier. Listen carefully and choose the setting that provides the fullest and most coherent sound.

6. Manteniment

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Audibax ADI-20A:

• Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish and internal components.
• Emmagatzematge: When not in use, store the DI box in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
