The Solo WiFi Water Leak Detector is a smart sensor designed to provide real-time alerts for water leaks and flooding. It connects to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and sends notifications directly to your smartphone via the SmartLife App (Tuya Platform). This device offers peace of mind by monitoring areas prone to water damage, such as basements, kitchens, laundry rooms, and bathrooms.

4.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Open the back cover of the main sensor unit.
2. Insert two (2) AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.

4.2. App Download and Device Pairing

2. Register or log in to your SmartLife App account.

6. Follow the in-app instructions to put the device into pairing mode. This usually involves pressing and holding the reset button on the sensor for a few seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly. Use the provided pin for the reset button if necessary.
7. Once the app detects the device, confirm the pairing.
8. You can rename the device for easy identification (e.g., "Basement Leak Sensor").

4.3. Col·locació i instal·lació

Choose a location where water leaks are likely to occur, such as near water heaters, under sinks, next to washing machines, dishwashers, or in basements. The sensor can also monitor water levels in bathtubs or pools.

• Muntatge adhesiu: Use the provided double-sided tape to secure the main unit to a clean, dry surface. Ensure the wired sensor probe is positioned at the lowest point where water would first accumulate.
• Muntatge de cargols: For a more permanent installation, use the included screws to mount the main unit.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Water Leak Detection

When the wired sensor probe detects water, the device will immediately trigger an alarm. An alarm notification will be pushed to your smartphone via the SmartLife App, allowing you to take prompt action to prevent water damage.

5.2. Modes de monitorització

The sensor supports two primary monitoring modes:

• Water Leakage Monitoring: Detects the presence of water on a surface.
• Low Water Level Monitoring: Can be used to monitor if a water level drops below a preset limit (e.g., in a fish tank or bathtub).

6. Manteniment

• Substitució de la bateria: The device is powered by 2 x AAA batteries. The SmartLife App will notify you when the battery level is low, indicating it's time for replacement. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous protection.
• Neteja: Periodically clean the sensor probe and the main unit with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the main unit in water.
• Comprovació de connectivitat: Regularly check the device status in the SmartLife App to ensure it remains connected to your Wi-Fi network.

7. Solució De Problemes

7.1. El dispositiu no es connecta a la Wi-Fi

• Check your Wi-Fi signal strength at the sensor's location. Move the sensor closer to the router if the signal is weak.

• Try resetting the sensor by pressing the reset button for 5-8 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly, then attempt pairing again.

7.2. No Notifications Received

• Check the device's battery level in the SmartLife App. Replace batteries if low.
• Ensure the SmartLife App has notification permissions enabled on your smartphone.

• Test the sensor by dipping the probe in a small amount of water to confirm it triggers an alarm.

7.3. Delayed Notifications
