Configuració
The Blackstone 2322 Griddle requires assembly. Follow the instructions provided in the included user manual for proper setup.
Initial Seasoning:
Before first use, the griddle top must be seasoned to create a non-stick surface and protect against rust. This process involves applying a thin layer of cooking oil (such as flaxseed, vegetable, or coconut oil) and heating the griddle until the oil smokes and burns off. Repeat this process 3-4 times.
Important: Do not use olive oil for initial seasoning due to its low smoke point.

Lighting the Griddle:

- Push and turn the control knob for the desired burner to the HIGH position.
- Press the igniter button until the burner lights.

Manteniment

After cooking, allow the griddle to cool slightly. Use a griddle scraper to push food debris and excess grease towards the rear grease management system.
For stubborn residue, pour a small amount of water onto the warm griddle and scrape. Avoid using soap or harsh chemicals, as this can damage the seasoning.
Once clean, apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the griddle surface to maintain seasoning and prevent rust.

Store the griddle in a dry, protected area. The included hood provides protection for the griddle top. For outdoor storage, consider using a Blackstone griddle cover to shield it from the elements.
