1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your HiKOKI 18V Cordless Dust Collector RP18DA(NN) and Starter Kit 4. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the product and keep it for future reference.

The HiKOKI RP18DA(NN) is a lightweight and compact cordless dust collector designed for both wet and dry applications, offering portability and ease of use for various cleaning tasks.

4. Configuració

4.1 Càrrega de la bateria

1. Connect the charger (UC18YFSL) to a power outlet.
2. Insert the 18V Lithium-ion Battery (BSL1840M) into the charger.
3. The charging indicator on the charger will illuminate, indicating the charging status. Refer to the charger's manual for detailed indicator meanings.

4.2 Attaching the Hose and Nozzles

1. Insert one end of the hose into the suction port of the dust collector until it clicks into place.
2. Attach the desired nozzle (e.g., Floor Nozzle, Crevice Nozzle, Joint Nozzle) to the other end of the hose or to the extension pipe.
3. For extended reach, connect the Extension Pipe between the hose and the nozzle. The hose can extend from 0.5m to 2.5m.

4.3 Attaching the Shoulder Belt

The detachable shoulder belt allows for easy portability. Attach the shoulder belt to the designated attachment points on the dust collector for comfortable carrying during operation.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Engegada/apagada

Insert the charged battery pack into the battery slot on the dust collector. To turn on the unit, press the power button. Press it again to turn off.

5.2 Modes de funcionament

The dust collector features different operating modes to suit various cleaning needs:

• Mode Eco: Provides longer operating time for general cleaning tasks with moderate suction.
• Mode boost: Delivers maximum suction power (up to 80W) for heavy-duty cleaning or stubborn debris. This mode will reduce battery life.

Note: Values are reference values and may vary depending on operating conditions and battery age.

5.4 Ús en sec i en humit

The RP18DA(NN) is designed for both wet and dry vacuuming. When vacuuming liquids, ensure the filter for dry use is removed and the HEPA filter is properly installed if applicable for wet use (refer to filter instructions). Empty the tank promptly after wet vacuuming to prevent mold and odors.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Buidar el dipòsit de pols

Regularly empty the dust tank to maintain optimal suction performance. Disconnect the battery before emptying. Open the tank latches, remove the top assembly, and dispose of collected debris.

6.2 Manteniment del filtre

The dust collector uses a dry-use filter and a HEPA filter. Regular cleaning of these filters is crucial for performance and air quality.

• Dry-use Filter: Tap the filter gently to dislodge dust or use a brush to clean. Replace if damaged or excessively clogged.
• Filtre HEPA: The HEPA filter can be cleaned by pressing the filter cleaning button. This mechanism shakes the filter to remove trapped dust.

6.3 Neteja general

Wipe the exterior of the dust collector with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly and storage.
