The Ingenuity Dream Retreat features an EZ 3-Step Fold design for quick setup and portability.

1. Unfolding the Playard

1. Remove the playard from the travel bag.
2. Place the folded playard on a flat surface.
3. Pull the side rails upwards until they lock into place. Ensure all four rails are fully extended and locked.
4. Push down on the center of the floor until it lies flat and locks securely.
5. Insert the mattress/pad into the bottom of the playard.

2. Installing the Bassinet (for infants 0-5 months)

1. After setting up the playard, attach the bassinet insert to the top rails using the provided clips or fasteners. Ensure it is securely attached at all points.
2. Place the mattress/pad inside the bassinet insert.

3. Assembling the UPF 50+ Shade

The shade can be used with both the bassinet and playard modes, or as a standalone shade. Assemble carefully to avoid damage to connectors.

1. Identify the frame components for the shade.
2. Carefully connect the frame pieces according to the diagrams in the product manual (not provided here, but generally involves snapping poles together).
3. Drape the fabric shade over the assembled frame.
4. Attach the shade to the playard/bassinet using the designated attachment points. Ensure it is stable and secure.

Folding for Storage and Travel

To fold the playard for storage or travel, follow these EZ 3-Step Fold instructions:

1. Remove the mattress/pad and any accessories.
2. Locate the release mechanisms on the side rails and collapse them.
3. Lift the center of the playard floor to fold the unit compactly.
4. Secure the folded playard with the mattress/pad wrapped around it, then place it in the travel bag.
