1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your MOZA KS Steering Wheel. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper functionality and longevity.

2.2 Instal·lació física

The MOZA KS Steering Wheel features a quick-release mechanism for easy attachment and detachment from compatible wheelbases.

1. Align the MOZA Quick Release on the steering wheel with the quick-release shaft on your MOZA wheelbase.
2. Push the steering wheel firmly onto the wheelbase until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely locked to prevent movement during use.
3. To detach, pull back the quick-release collar on the wheelbase and slide the steering wheel off.

2.3 Instal·lació i compatibilitat del programari

For full functionality and customization, install the MOZA Pit House Control Suite software on your PC. This software allows you to configure button mappings, LED colors, and other wheel settings.

The MOZA KS Steering Wheel is compatible with all MOZA wheelbases. For compatibility with 3rd-party wheelbases, a MOZA Universal Hub Kit PC adapter (sold separately) is required to connect directly to the PC.

3.1 Button and Encoder Functions

The MOZA KS Steering Wheel is equipped with a variety of programmable inputs:

• 10 Programmable RGB Buttons: These short-travel buttons can be assigned various in-game functions and customized with different LED colors.
• 20-Position Thumb Encoders: Located on the grips, these allow for quick adjustments without removing hands from the wheel.
• 12-Position Rotary Encoders: Three central rotary encoders (e.g., for Turbo, TC, ABS) provide fine-tuned control over vehicle settings.
• Depressible Joysticks: Two joysticks offer additional directional input and can be pressed for button functions.
• 8-Color RPM LED Light: An LED strip indicates engine RPM, customizable in color and timing.

3.2 Magnetic Paddle Shifters with Dual Clutch

The steering wheel features magnetic paddle shifters for precise gear changes and a dual-clutch system for optimal race starts. The 0.3mm precision non-contact hall sensors ensure consistent and reliable input.

3.3 Customizing Button Colors

You can easily change the LED colors of the programmable buttons directly on the wheel:

1. Push both joysticks inward simultaneously until the top LED bar flashes yellow. This indicates you are in customization mode.
2. Press any of the 10 programmable buttons to cycle through the 8 available color presets.
3. Once you have selected your desired colors, push both joysticks inward again until the wheel flashes yellow to save your settings and exit customization mode.

3.4 MOZA Pit House Control Suite

The MOZA Pit House software provides advanced customization options for your steering wheel, including:

• Detailed button mapping.
• Fine-tuning of RPM indicator timing and colors.
• Adjustments for dual clutch paddles.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Atenció general

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your MOZA KS Steering Wheel, follow these general care guidelines:

• Avoid exposing the wheel to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Keep the wheel away from liquids and excessive dust.
• Store the wheel in the provided dust bag when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches.

Clean the steering wheel regularly using a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt on the TPE rubber grips or carbon fiber composite, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by immediate drying. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the materials and finishes.
