4. Instruccions de configuració
4.1. Instal·lació de la bateria
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the locomotive or the control base.
- Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
- Insert three (3) AA size 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
Note: Batteries are not included with this product. Always use fresh batteries for optimal performance.
4.2. Muntatge de la via
- Choose a flat, stable surface for your train layout.
- Connect the track sections by aligning the connectors and gently pressing them together until they click into place.
- Form an oval track layout as shown in Figure 1. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent derailments.
4.3. Train Car Connection
- Place the locomotive and all train cars onto the assembled track.
- Connect the train cars to each other using the provided coupling mechanisms. Ensure each car is securely linked to the next.
- Verify that all wheels are properly seated on the track rails.
5. Funcionament
5.1. Encès / apagat
- Once the batteries are installed and the train is assembled on the track, locate the ON/OFF switch on the control base.
- Slide the switch to the "ON" position to activate the train. The train will begin to move, and animated effects will start.
- To turn off the train, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.
5.2. Animated Effects and Motion
The Lemax Caddington Regional Railroad features animated effects and motion. Upon activation, the train will move along the track, and any integrated animated elements will operate automatically. There are no additional controls for these effects; they are part of the train's standard operation.
6. Manteniment
6.1. Neteja
- Ensure the train is turned off and batteries are removed before cleaning.
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, as this may damage the finish or electronic components.
6.2. Substitució de la bateria
When the train's movement slows or animated effects become weak, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 4.1 for battery installation, ensuring to replace all three AA batteries simultaneously.
6.3. Emmagatzematge
When not in use, store the train set in its original packaging or a protective container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries before long-term storage.
