1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your RockJam 49 Key USB Keyboard Piano, Model RJ490BB. 3. Configuració

3.1 Engegar el teclat

The keyboard can be powered in two ways:

• Potència USB: Connect the provided USB cable to the DC 5V-2A port on the back of the keyboard and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
• Potència de la bateria: Insert 4 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Ensure correct polarity.

3.2 Fixació del pentagrama

Locate the slots on the top panel of the keyboard. Insert the music rest into these slots until it is securely in place. This provides a stable platform for sheet music or a tablet.

3.3 Applying Keynote Stickers

For beginners, the included piano note stickers can be applied to the white keys to help identify notes. Carefully peel each sticker and align it with the corresponding key, ensuring it adheres smoothly. These stickers are designed to be removable.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Encès/Apagat

Premeu el botó PODER button located on the top left of the control panel to turn the keyboard on or off.

4.2 Control de volum

Gira el gran VOLUM knob to adjust the master volume of the keyboard.

4.3 Selecting Tones

The keyboard features 200 different tones. To select a tone:

1. Premeu el botó TO botó.
2. Use the number pad (0-9) or the '+' and '-' buttons to enter the desired tone number. The selected tone number will appear on the digital display.

Refer to the tone list printed on the keyboard for available options, including Piano, Organ, Guitar, Bass, Strings, Brass, Synth, and various Sound Effects.

4.4 Selecció de ritmes

The keyboard includes 200 rhythms. To select a rhythm:

1. Premeu el botó RITME botó.
2. Use the number pad (0-9) or the '+' and '-' buttons to enter the desired rhythm number.
3. Premeu INICI/PARA per començar o acabar el ritme.

Available rhythms include Pop, Dance, Samba, Tango, Country, and various traditional styles.

4.5 Ajust de tempo

While a rhythm or demo song is playing, use the TEMPO '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease the playback speed.

4.6 cançons de demostració

The keyboard has 50 pre-recorded demo songs. Press the DEMO button to cycle through and play the demo songs. Press INICI/PARA per aturar la reproducció.

4.7 Gravació i reproducció

2. Play your desired melody on the keys.

5. Connectivitat

The RockJam RJ490BB offers several ports for enhanced functionality:

• Presa d'auriculars (3.5 mm): Connect headphones for private practice without disturbing others.
• Entrada auxiliar (3.5 mm): Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to play along with your favorite songs.

• Simply Piano App: Unlock exclusive content from the Simply Piano IOS and Android application. This app provides interactive lessons, helping you learn fundamental piano techniques and play popular songs. Follow the instructions provided with your product to redeem your access.
• Keynote Stickers: As mentioned in the Setup section, these stickers are a visual aid for identifying notes on the keys, making it easier to follow sheet music and learn scales.

7. Manteniment

Proper care will ensure the longevity of your keyboard:

• Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the keyboard. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish.

8. Solució De Problemes

  • Verify the power connection or battery status.
• Les tecles no responen:

  • If certain keys on the left side are unresponsive, check if a 'finger' button or similar setting is activated, which might mute sections of the keyboard for specific modes. Deactivate it to restore full keyboard functionality.
