3.4 Col·locació del micròfon
Optimal microphone placement is crucial for capturing the desired sound. Experiment with distance and angle relative to the sound source. For vocals, a distance of 6-12 inches (15-30 cm) is a common starting point. For instruments, consider the instrument's sound projection and the acoustic environment.
4. Funcionament
4.1 Phantom Power Activation
Once the microphone is securely connected, activate the 48V phantom power on your audio interface or mixer. The TF17 will not function without proper phantom power.
4.2 Guany Staging
Set the input gain on your audio interface or preamp. Start with the gain low and gradually increase it while speaking or playing into the microphone. Aim for a healthy signal level without clipping (distortion). The TF17 has a fixed cardioid polar pattern, meaning it is most sensitive to sounds coming from the front and rejects sounds from the rear and sides.
