Your helmet is a critical safety device. Always wear it correctly. This helmet meets DOT and FMVSS 218 standards. Never modify your helmet, as this can compromise its protective capabilities. Replace your helmet after any impact, even if visible damage is not apparent.
3. Sizing and Fit

How to Measure Your Head Size:
- Using a soft, flexible tape measure, measure horizontally around your head at a height of approximately one inch (2.5cm) above your eyebrows, at the largest measurement around your forehead.
- Select the helmet size that is closest to your head measurement from the sizing guidelines. If your head measurement falls between two helmet sizes, try on the smaller of the two helmets first.

4.1. Chin Strap (Nylon Strap Retention System)
The helmet features a Nylon Strap Retention System for secure fastening. Ensure the strap is tightened so the helmet does not move freely on your head. The strap should be snug under your chin without causing discomfort.
4.2. Visor (Pinlock-Ready HJ-34 Visor)
The HJ-34 visor provides a wide, distortion-free view. It is Pinlock-ready for anti-fog insert installation (sold separately). The visor can be adjusted to multiple positions. To remove or replace the visor, consult the quick-release system instructions (typically involves pressing a release button on each side of the visor mechanism).
4.3. Integrated Sunshield
The helmet includes an integrated sunshield for protection against glare. A lever on the side of the helmet allows you to deploy and retract the sunshield as needed. Ensure it operates smoothly.
5. Ús del casc
5.1. Wearing the Helmet
- Hold the helmet by the chin straps with the opening facing you.
- Expand the helmet opening by pulling the straps outwards.
- Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level and comfortably.
- Fasten the chin strap securely.
5.2. Ventilation (ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System)
The ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System provides maximum airflow. The helmet features a 3-top vent intake system and a rear exhaust spoiler. Adjust the top vents by sliding the controls to open or close them, allowing air to flow through and flush out heat.
5.3. Smart HJC Bluetooth System (Sold Separately)
The HJC I30 Vicom helmet is Smart HJC ready, designed to accept the 10B or 20B Bluetooth systems (sold separately). Refer to the Bluetooth system's specific instruction manual for installation and operation details.
