5. Operational Capacity
The MM272-A is designed for gates up to 12 feet long or 300 lbs. It is compatible with various gate materials including vinyl, aluminum, chain link, farm tube, wrought iron, and wood. It is not recommended for solid surface gates (more than 30% total coverage).

6. Sistema d'alimentació
The system is powered by a 12 Vdc automotive, lawn tractor, or marine battery (required but not included). The battery charger is on the control board and is maintained by a 120Vac to 16VDC output transformer or by optional solar panels. The solar panels should generate a minimum of 10 Watts (600 mA). A diode on the control board prevents battery discharge.
Important: Never use both the transformer and solar panel (20 Watt Max.) simultaneously, as this will damage the battery and control board.
One (1) mini blade-style fuse is rated for 25A. The transformer should not be directly connected to any battery. Do not replace fuses with higher ampere rated fuses; doing so will void your warranty and may damage your control board.
