3. Configuració i instal·lació

The ELRO FS1805 smoke detectors are designed for easy installation using the included magnetic mounting kit. No drilling or screwing is required.

3.1. Activació de la bateria

1. Before installation, ensure the battery is correctly activated. The detector comes with a pre-installed 5-year battery.
2. Follow the instructions on the detector to activate the battery, typically by rotating the detector onto its base or removing a pull tab.

3.2. Muntatge magnètic

1. The magnetic mounting set consists of two strong magnetic discs with high-quality self-adhesive strips.
2. Peel the protective film from one magnetic disc and firmly attach it to the back of the smoke detector.
3. Peel the protective film from the second magnetic disc and firmly attach it to your ceiling at the desired location.
4. Align the smoke detector with the magnetic disc on the ceiling and click it into place. The magnets will hold the detector securely.

3.3. Recomanacions de col·locació

For optimal operation, place at least one smoke alarm on each floor of your home. Always mount the smoke detector against the ceiling. Recommended locations include:

Avoid placing smoke alarms in kitchens, bathrooms, or garages where steam, cooking fumes, or exhaust can cause false alarms.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

The ELRO FS1805 smoke alarm features an optical sensor that quickly reacts to smoke. In the event of a fire, the detector will emit an alarm of at least 85dB.

4.1. Botó de prova

The smoke alarm is equipped with a test button to verify its functionality. Press and hold the test button for a few seconds. The alarm should sound, indicating that the unit is working correctly. Release the button to stop the alarm.

The detector includes a low battery indicator. When the battery is nearing the end of its 5-year lifespan, the unit will emit a short chirp or flash an LED periodically to alert you that the battery needs replacement. 5. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures the optimal operation of your smoke detector.
